Bottle thnx to the brewer ! Pours black, no real head. Sweet, coconut scent. Bit roasty. Balanced, but I think coconut really overpowers easely, giving a milky, often not that nice aroma/taste. here, the scent is a touch to much coconut for me, but i’m sure others might love it, and clearly it IS balanced. Taste is bit sweet, roasty, coconut-butteryness ( no dyacethyl ! ). Coconut is there, but in probably the best balance i’ve had it so far. Blended in more than it was in the scent. Super silky MF. Great carbo as well. Nice ! koleminer20 (4261) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAR 16, 2017
From notes. Enjoyed on draft at Hunahpu’s Day 2017 on March 11. The pour is a thicker black color with a thin ring of dark khaki colored head and a lack of lace as it falls down. The aroma is really interesting. There is a heavy sweetness about this at first glance. The coconut is a little lighter, but the molasses and a strong roasted malt and chocolate really shine. I don’t get the sweet part of this, but I think it’s possibly with the coconut. The flavor is a lot better. The coconut really pops as it comes through with a nice chocolate and a hint of booze. The roasted malts and a light vanilla even peek through with this, and it’s like a good balance of a Mounds bar. The mouth feel is a little lighter than I want with a softer carbonation and a lingeringly oily coconut and chocolate on the finish. This is a good beer for sure, but I wish there was a little more balance on the front end. bursprak (3284) - Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2017

Bottle - Pours black w/ maroon hue. Nose is coconut, I mean a lot of coconut but in a good way plus some bourbon and oak. Taste is boozy, fudgy, chocolate, coconut. Sweet. It’s good and dangerously good but somewhat artificial taste. ctipping (2299) - Florida, USA - OCT 24, 2016
375 mL bottle. Black body with no head. Smells of coconut and lots of chocolate. Some bourbon. Tastes really nice. Coconut is really strong. Bourbon behind it. Some chocolate. Hefty oak. Dry oak and booze, just like the vanilla variant. Boozy finish. Heavy with low carbonation. The coconut flavor just elevates it above the vanilla.
