COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fruity Bits is a rotating IPA series inspired by our popular New England style IPA, Juicy Bits, and brewed with real fruit to complement the hop character of the beer. For Fruity Bits – Pina Colada we used Mosiac and Citra hops for their tropical fruit notes, then added a ridiculous amount of pineapple and raw and toasted coconut to compliment the juicy hop character. The result is the most fruit-forward and unique IPA we have released to date.

Sample at First Draft Taproom during the "CSA ALL DAY" event on 10/06/2017. Cloudy bright golden color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and coconut. Medium body with flavors of tart pineapple, toasted coconut, herbal hops and biscuit malt. The finish is fruity with a piña colada aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Tap at the taproom. Mosaic, Citra, pineapple, and coconut? Are you kidding me? This is beautiful.

Murky bright golden with a foamy thin white head. Big phat pineapple and candied coconut on the aroma with a grassy piney bitter backbone with more pineapple hops. Big flavor that’s loaded with pina colada tones of coconut and pineapple and a brisk piney dank bitter hoppy tone and a lingering pineappley candied coconutty finish. Delightful.

Cloudy beige beer, creamy off-white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of coconut indeed, tropical fruit, sweet impression, some pineapple. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of coconut, bit sourish, nice bitterness, tropical fruits, pineapple. Aftertaste: more coconut, lovely stuff, pretty bitter, hoppy, very nice one!

Thnx to the brewer, trough Beerlover_ben. Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is intense, coconut, mild sweetness, some bitter note. taste is full, bitter, juicy indeed ! coconut, hops, aromatic. very balanced, even though the coconut overtakes the aftertaste. Very nice one one side (and i mean really, really nice) yet on the other hand, this is a taste I don’t seem to like... my mind is stuck between love or hate, all I can conclude is that this is extremely well made.

Crowler. Pours barely translucent banana with a serviceable eggshell head. Aroma has definite piña colada character (cue the golden oldie) plus more than a hint of fresh malt. Flavor continues the piña colada and adds more malt plus some hops. Moutfeel offers decent fizz and body. If you like getting caught in the rain - glad I grew up listening to the oldies.

Crowler. Deep hazy burnt yellow gold with an average white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is straight up pineapple, coconut, and tropical fruit. Taste is pineapple juice, fresh coconut, white rum, and sugary sweetness. Sweet overall but good. Sweetness prohibits sessionability.

From huge crowler! Hazy yellowish pour with a frothy head. Tons of pineapple, coconut, mangoes, light citrus and a subdued bitterness.
