This stout poured a deep black colour with a big, brown, creamy head. To thte nose there are scents of coffee, cocoa, earth and burnt toast. First sip was smooth with medium carbonation. Flavours of coffee, very light cocoa (kind of disappointing level) and almost burnt toast. Finish is burnt withlight hop flavour lingering amoungst the sea of burnt.
April 4, 2015 - at Morgan’s on Danforth - on draught. Thin-looking inky black with a smallish but lasting creamy/bubbly light brown head. Aroma is - duh - chocolate, alcohol with some dry herbal bitterness and something mossy and dry in there. Taste is full-on chocolate with some cream and coffee bean notes - a surprising amount of bitterness, but it’s mostly about the dark chocolate/cocoa; thin, but good. Light and slick, weak carbonation - quick to finish, but it’s dry and not sugary in the finish - a little light, but solid profile to the aroma/taste. Arcanor (421) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 22, 2017
355ml bottle no date. Bottle. Pours black with some mahogany reflexions and a tan creamy head. Aroma is of roasted malt, coffee and chocolat. Taste is not so sweet roasted malt, bitter coffee and lactose. Medium body and carbonation. Long milky coffee finish. azzurro (380) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 12, 2017
Wellington’s stout reminds me of the Tom Green. Same league, well done. Good milk stout. ChadPoole (478) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 1, 2017
Well Re-Booted mixer 4 pack from LCBO. Pours black with a creamy chocolate milk head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee and milk. Dark chocolate, roasted coffee and lactose flavours which make for a great bitter sweet stout. I really enjoyed this one and looking forward to trying the next three. Pours dark black with average tan head. Hits of dark chocolate. Bit of roasted malts which gives it slightly bitter finish which counters sweetness nicely. Expected it to be heavier, but thats the only complaint i got. Alcohol is well hidden. Very good carbonation for stout.

bottle. Poured black with a brown head. Heavy roasted aroma. Full bodied, prickly carbonation, dry finish. Roasted malt flavour, smokey with sweet dark fruit notes, a touch astringent. markas101 (2489) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - DEC 31, 2016

355 ml bottle from Welly Re-Booted Mix Pack. Quiet pour with medium carbonation and a roasted barley + chocolate aroma. The beer is mahogany in colour with a durable sepia head and good lace. The start is malty smooth with notes of chocolate expanding into the middle. The finish is long with roasted barley, hop dryness, lactose sweetness and a trace of alcohol warmth contributing to the complexity. Smooth from start to finish. Well done! googleimage83 (170) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 23, 2016
Nice thick dark body, dark brown head, lots of flaky sediment. Aroma is not your typical coffee/cocoa... sweet, fruity and figgy, and some chocolate; I like it. Same with the taste, although the chocolate comes through a bit more. Notable dry hop, plum/fig fruit flavors, toast. Other than a too-heavy carbonation level, I’d say they did a very good job with this one. lukin (663) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 13, 2016
bottle. Dark black pour, brown head. Chocolate is prominent but not overwhelming. Sweet roasty coffee. Its ok, but somehow all the different flavours didn’t come together like they should have.
