this is a one-off from the guys at Wellington. It is a stout brewed with maple syrup that was served on tap during their open house on 2/19/11.
Poured black with very nice frothy brown head. The maple syrup really comes through in the aroma. The flavour is a little lacking but you do taste the coffee and dark chocolate. The finish is very sweet. I couldnt believe it when the brewmaster told us it was in between 8 and 9% as this was very drinkable.
