Nice thick dark body, dark brown head, lots of flaky sediment. Aroma is not your typical coffee/cocoa... sweet, fruity and figgy, and some chocolate; I like it. Same with the taste, although the chocolate comes through a bit more. Notable dry hop, plum/fig fruit flavors, toast. Other than a too-heavy carbonation level, Id say they did a very good job with this one.

bottle. Dark black pour, brown head. Chocolate is prominent but not overwhelming. Sweet roasty coffee. Its ok, but somehow all the different flavours didnt come together like they should have.

Pours a very dark brown with no head except for the medium brown foam that appeared when pouring and immediately disappeared. Nose is of roasted malt, chocolate and alcohol. Taste is of chocolate, alcohol, slight lactose. Milk chocolate but not in an assertive way. Almost ash-y. Body is light to medium and obviously lacking with a quite high carbonation. Powdery cocoa in the finish. Slightly sticky. A fair (chocolate) milk stout but I kept wishing it had a fuller body and a lower carbonation.

Had this beer on gravity feed at Cest What. Poured black with tiny tan head. Aroma is of chocolate, brown sugar, and coffee. Taste is of thick cocoa , brown sugary syrup and dark coffee. Palate was very flat and syrup with a heavy body. The gravity feed may have taken away from my enjoyment.

The aroma was amazing and the coco and milk sugar complimented the stout beer perfectly . I really enjoyed it . The packaging also was very nice and said premium to me. Thanks for your hard work in Guelph.
