Appearance: deep dark brown, small and quickly dissipating brown head.
Aroma: chocolate, nutty, coffee, quite a hint of leather and indeed maple.
Flavour: tangy coffee, brandy, leather, quite boozy, a little marijuana like in the finish. Weird.

Cask at Volo. This one off was a surprising effort for them, very coffee with chocolate. Some off notes, a little astringent. Average mouthfeel. Very dark brown coloured body with but a whisp of head. Drinkable, but not very drinkable.Roast aromas. blankboy (7735) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 14, 2011
Cask at Burger Bar. Pours dark brown with a spare diminishing tan head. Mild aroma of cold coffee along with lightly roasted caramel malt and a hint of hops. Slightly watery flavour is mostly coffee followed by light roasted malt and just a hint of chocolate. Average bodied. Just O.K., I prefer my Imperial Stouts on nitro, not on cask. Still a good effort for Wellington though.
