Nice dark brown ale with a nice moka head. Intense malt nose, and even moreintense nutty malt taste with woody, almost porto or vinous tendancies. Alcool warmth enrobes your mouth and creamy mouthfeel. Yummy.

Pours red/brown. Roasty sweet nose. Lots of Cola qualities. Toasty malt and sweet but cloying.

This Ale pours a deep red colour with a head that looks like soapy water. Grape citrus, doughy yeast and some nice malts make up the scent to this one. The first sip started out slightly acidic with a strong hoppy flavour of almost pine and more citrus (grape) notes. The palate was a little nutty with little to no carbonation. Almost flat. Too bad since this one came right from the brewery. This beer was better before when I tried it.

Very malty beer, with low hop flavor. Really enjoyable. Very enjoyable. Nice warming beer. Perfect for the winter. I really liked it. Caramel aroma and clean tasting. Brown in color.

Pours brown with a thin off-white head. Malty carmel aroma and clean. Big malt flavor, lowm hop, with carmel dominating. Very drinkable and a good effort. Many thanks to Lubiere.

hopscotch (11113) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 26, 2003
This beer rocks! Sparkling clear and as coppery as a freshley-minted penny. Not much of a head. Some chocolate notes and yeasty, doughy characteristics along with geueze in the aroma. Very malty flavor with rich cream and butter in the flavor. Sherry and alcohol too. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Lengthy, bittersweet finish. World Class Brew!

This ale is a bit on the watery side. It's malty, but it comes across thin.

Dark tawny color, slight haze. Little to no head.Faint aroma of malt and treacle/molasses. Flavor is malt and molasses up front, very little hops, in the finish. Alcohol comes through in the mid-taste. Surprisingly thin for darkness and strength.

Looked just like a coca cola, minus all of the effervescence. Mild malt aroma, caramel. Coffee toffee in the taste. It had an annoying, lingering aftertaste that bothered me. More alcohol came out as it warmed.

carmels, earthyness, the roast is washed like pan carmels, resinous surface, some sorghum in the nose, light medium body, musty, molasses
