Part of Welly reboot mix pack. Pours an average size frothy off-white head and has a hazy golden light amber appearance. Decent sticky lacing. Aromas of floral and herbal hops, bready malts. Flavours are mostly bready malts and herbal hop notes. Some citrus and fruity notes. Some subtle bitterness on the palate. Ok.

Cloudy caramel-amber colour with a smaller warm cap, quick enough going, leaving some decent lace. Fruity malt nose with green grassy hops, caramel, nuttiness and dates. The taste shows some bitterness, but with some hints of wax, fruity malts and the wax I cannot get over. Something off. Bugging me. Not gross overall, but not one I would have again.

Bottle from brewery. Messy vegetable resin caramel aroma that’s not all bad. Caramalt taste with a bit of a c-hop bite. A bit of an American Brown Ale taste to it. Not bad.

pours cloudy medium dark golden with a nice reviving beige-orange head offering some retention and lacing. classic spicy citrus, candied orange fruitiness, sweetish but not quite caramel maltiness, indian spices with a splash of ghee, touch of garlic-ey simcoe, lingering pine, almost clean yeast action. moderate carbonation, light body - oily; assertively unbalanced piney-grapefruity finish. kinda oldschool but with a quirky spicy touch. interesting offering.

Pours cloudy reddish yellow with a small white ring. Aroma is big tropical, lemon and citrus hops. Taste is a huge upfront citrus, mango, lemon zest with some pine. Extremely fruity which would probably turn people off. But I love it.

Biscuity malts, light orangey citrus. Low to medium bitterness, very sweet finish. Muddled mouth feel, OK carb. Meh.

Pours an orangey-gold, lightly hazed, with a 1 finger tight-pored white cap. Aroma is not really as in your face as you would expect from an AIPA but pleasant enough with some citrus, fruits and a caramel malt base. Med to light bodies with a sandy mouth feel, mild carbonation. Flavour is rather common – fair hop-malt balance , some citrus and pine, a little malt sweetness, mildly bitter in the finish.

Bottle from 4-pack mixer. Pours dining room table brown with a smattering of tight bubbles across the surface. Restrained & underwhelming ipa. Face it: with all the great fresh local IPAs within 10 minutes of my house I don’t see myself ever reaching for this. The hops are far too few & offer a woody & herbal flavour. Unbalanced. There a strange whiskey note somewhere beneath it all. Meh.

July 14, 2013 - at the Rhino Summer Beer Festival 2013. Can sample. Hazy orange-gold with a smallish frothy off-white head. Floral aroma, hint of pineapple and some orange zest - moderate alcohol, but a little dishwater keeping it from hitting 8/10. Taste is simple, juicy, bitter - a little generic; more floral than citrus - light malt and alcohol, but pretty dull. Watery, slightly still mouthfeel, finishes medium-quick with a very characterless linger. Ehh.

Orange-gold pour, thin whit head. Fruity hop aroma, orange, citrus. Taste is much the same. Decent bitterness.
