Biscuity malts, light orangey citrus. Low to medium bitterness, very sweet finish. Muddled mouth feel, OK carb. Meh. Raistlin (401) - London, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 30, 2017
Pours an orangey-gold, lightly hazed, with a 1 finger tight-pored white cap. Aroma is not really as in your face as you would expect from an AIPA but pleasant enough with some citrus, fruits and a caramel malt base. Med to light bodies with a sandy mouth feel, mild carbonation. Flavour is rather common – fair hop-malt balance , some citrus and pine, a little malt sweetness, mildly bitter in the finish. Bottle from 4-pack mixer. Pours dining room table brown with a smattering of tight bubbles across the surface. Restrained & underwhelming ipa. Face it: with all the great fresh local IPAs within 10 minutes of my house I don’t see myself ever reaching for this. The hops are far too few & offer a woody & herbal flavour. Unbalanced. There a strange whiskey note somewhere beneath it all. Meh. HogTownHarry (6622) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2017
July 14, 2013 - at the Rhino Summer Beer Festival 2013. Can sample. Hazy orange-gold with a smallish frothy off-white head. Floral aroma, hint of pineapple and some orange zest - moderate alcohol, but a little dishwater keeping it from hitting 8/10. Taste is simple, juicy, bitter - a little generic; more floral than citrus - light malt and alcohol, but pretty dull. Watery, slightly still mouthfeel, finishes medium-quick with a very characterless linger. Ehh. RhetoricalAns (929) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 20, 2015
Orange-gold pour, thin whit head. Fruity hop aroma, orange, citrus. Taste is much the same. Decent bitterness.

[5533-20130622] Tap. Lightly toasted grains aroma. Clear, orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Bitter light evergreen citrus flavour. Medium body has a bit of a kick. Very tasty but was not this way at first. (7/4/8/4/15) 3.8

16 oz can at the Hart House Craft Beer Festival, served in a tasting glass. Pours slightly hazy amber with a medium head that remains and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has toasted malts, along with tropical fruit, citrus, apple and subtle anise. The flavour is medium sweet with toffee, fruit and English malt notes dominating; there is also a subtle bitterness and a hint of anise. The finish is slightly more hoppy, with toffeeish malts and more anise. On the palate it is medium in body with a smooth, milky texture and soft carbonation. Overall, an interesting anisey-tropical fruity-hoppy IPA on the darker end of the spectrum. 2014-07-31 Niall73 (2432) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 16, 2014
Tap at Rhino, Toronto. Pours a hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma has grass, brown bread, orange... Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Pine, wood, lemon, candy, orange, light caramel, grapefruit in the bitter finish. Nice balance. Decent.

Can, pours a dark yellow, aroma is earth, taste is a mix of piney and citursness and a bit earthiness in there, its interest stuff, it was quite drinkable Frothmeister (790) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 18, 2013
473ml can. Pours a hazy honey gold with a thin off-white head that quickly diminished. The nose is thin resinous notes and tropical fruit, caramel, and some biscuity malt. Up front, the taste is a wall of resinous hops with some tropical fruit, and minerality, then basically citrus pith bitterness all the way until the end. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely one sided, and not very interesting.
