whitecap (289) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2011
can purchased directly from the Wellington Brewery in Guelph. pours hazy yellow with a white head. Generic wheat beer taste. There is something indistinguishable about one of the flavors in this beer. It’s not completely generic but it tastes almost incomplete and unbalanced, like some random spice was haphazardly added. Does not live up to the reputation of the other Wellington beers. Strangebrewer (1316) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 17, 2011
can. Poured pale straw coloured with a thin white head. Light sourish grainy aroma. Light smooth mouthfeel. Cereal grainy flavour, nice sweet bready malt finish. thorongil2 (3174) - , Ontario, CANADA - AUG 23, 2011
(can) clear light yellow colour with small white head; skunky aroma, metallic, wet dog; watery palate; flavour - nothing of wheat ale, light and generic reebtogi (6316) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 19, 2011
473mL can poured golden into goblet with about a finger of white head and some lacing. Aroma is grain and floral hops. Taste is lightly sweet with some hop bitterness and a slightly peppery finish. Lightly carbonated and light bodied. Nicely balanced beer that goes down nice on a hot summer day. hopdog (12673) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 17, 2011
Can. Poured a yellow color with a white head. Aromas and tastes of grains, lighter citrus, and some wheat. Lighter spices as well.

Wellington silver wheat ale. No abv on can.
pours clear straw with appropriate white head, vanishing to minor resilience and some lace. Grain, pine, grass hop, caramel, spice. light med body, nice caramel, wheat, spice and floury finish. mmacleod75 (112) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 11, 2011
Poured from can. Light golden colour with small head. Grain aroma with slight citrus. About the same for taste, but balanced nevertheless. Nothing really overpowering or offensive, just average. DeanF (2469) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 11, 2011
Boring carbonated gold with decent head, but it will do the trick; yet I’d say it’s a lager from how it looked. Vague grain aroma. Flavour is a lager nothing-ness with just a hint of hops. This is more a cheap lager than even a bad wheat ale. Metalchopz (3422) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 3, 2011
Came in the OCB Discovery Pack 9 at the LCBO, for summer 2011. Also noticed how it came in a 4-pack (also can) at the LCBO. I did see the words "light beer" hidden at the bottom of the can, and I kind of wondered how it would do with "wheat ale". Pours a clean light golden-yellow colour with a big white head that had decent retention and lacing all around. Grainy nose with some sweetness, kind of fruity with notes of oranges. All of this, pretty mild of course. Not sure what to make of the taste though. Not really wheaty, but still grainy, and has some type of hoppy bitterness (which I am not sure works). Not horrible, but some things are not working together. Still, better than I expected for a light beer. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 1, 2011
Gold with a thin short lived head. Light grainy aroma with a hint of sourness. Grainy flvour. Acceptable by Canadian light beer standards. A bit of peppery hops in the finish.
