Sample at Atlantic Beer Festival Moncton. Crystal clear golden amber color, tiny white edge head. Aroma of light smoke and black pepper. Taste is bittersweet caramel.

Draft - Light grains, caramel and earthy hops. Clear copper with a decent beige head. Toffee and earthy hops. Typical and nice English style.

Can in Welly tasters 4pack LCBO: Amber with substantial head and carb. Nose is subdued malt with some straw and toast. Taste is same with noticable hop absence. Creamy and balanced with a short rounded end. High drinkability, but nothing special, as it were.

473ml can in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of pale and cereal malts, light metallic notes, and light, faded hops. Flavor the same. Average to light texture. Not the best beer; might be an old can, but I still doubt that it’s that great.

RhetoricalAns (929) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 10, 2013
Pours amber, thin white head. Mild grain aroma. Somewhat mild taste and bitterness. Not bad.

yrstruly (333) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 22, 2013
This ubiquitous Guelph brew pours light amber with a minimal white head. The aroma is of toast, light malt, slight esters, and English hops. Taste is medium-sweet, with a medium-light body, cleaning up with a light touch of English hops. Not super exciting, but it’s got balance and drinkability on it’s side.

samzim (426) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 20, 2013
Minimal malty scent. Cloudy copper appearance. Can’t taste and discernible flavours. Very light body with minimal fizz. Might be good if one wants to drink a lot of beer very quickly

473 mL can. Pours amber with a touch of white head. Aroma is mostly biscuit like malt with a hint of almondy diacetyl and a slight hop spice. Pretty uneventful. Thin and moderately carbonated. Kind of missed the mark for me.
