This one poured an amber colour with a light tan coloured head that didn’t last long. To the nose there are scents of whiskey, spruce hops and cereal. First sip was smooth with very nice flavours of grassy hopps, caramel and cereal malts. Finish was malty with the hops following right behind. cyrenaica (1126) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 16, 2012

I tried this beer on cask on April 19, 2012 at "C’est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent red colour with an off-white head that laced well. The aroma was grains, citrus, and spices. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was dry, grainy, with a hint of citrusy bitterness. Quite drinkable.
473mL can from the brewery. Pours a nice ruby-amber with a small beige head. Aroma is a bit odd, kind of reminds me of an ESB, not much rye at all, and a tad yeasty which I find weird because the beer is totally clear. Flavour is full of nice and rich caramalts with a spicy edge owing to the rye. Thee is also a touch of citrus in the finish which adds a nice element to the whole thing. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation on the palate. I have yet to meet a Welly-One-Off which I did not like. Well-done. lukin (621) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 10, 2012
cask at the wooly. Dark amber appearance, foamy head. Aroma of citrus malt. Taste is light, mostly sweet fruit. Very sessionable. Lubiere (13796) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 7, 2012
A hazed amber brown ale with a thick frothy mocha head, In aroma, sweet caramel malt treacle, light apples, vinous, very nice. In mouth, a smooth sweet caramel with light astringency, herbal faint hops, not bad. Cask at the Wellington Gastropub, May 1 2012.

Sample from can at the Only Cafe Spring Beer Fest. Pours a clear amber colour with small slighty off-white head. Aroma is fruity with some grainy rye character. Taste is quite (sweetly) fruity with rye malt also quite apparent. Nice enough. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 30, 2012
2012-04-27. Crisp dark amber orange body with a modest beige head. Flavour is mild, light bitterness, grainy cereally rye malt. Sweetish core, odd rye character lingers. Mild aroma has a muted sweet malt core and a bit of a funky rye character. 6+ Smooth average plus palate. Meh, lots of rye character, which does not entirely suit my tastes. Just okay. [4403-20120427] Tap. Poopy chocolate-tinted cherry aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Grainy bread malt flavour has a big sweet yeasty base and light malty fruit aftertaste. Medium body. Tasty but a terrible aromatic introduction that thankfully dissipates. (4-/3/7/3/13) 3.0

On tap. Clear orange amber. Very earthy aroma. Dried leaves, crabapple, sweet jammy. Some citrus. Pretty sticky medium body. Sweet up front with a sour fruity finish. Not bad. Not what I was expecting. Pretty much an "english" IPA, with the earthy rye influence. Don’t expect a hop bomb. blankboy (7662) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2012
Cask at C’est What. Pours a clear orange-amber with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Aroma is sweet along with light rye malt and grain. Slightly watery flavour of sweet rye malt and grain. Average bodied. It’s O.K., a bit sweet and watery but decent.
