This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

I like banana bread and I love beer, but I just wasn't feelin' this combo. The taste actually worked for me, but the quality of the brew just didn't seem there. Seemed like a basic average lager or amber ale with some banana flavor added. Appearance is a gold to copper color.... pretty thin. Not quite skunky but tastes semi-metalic. Would have rather used the money for half a six pack of something solid.

Wow. Didn’t know what to expect. Sugary beers are no fun and was worried that is what this would be. It’s not. Perfect balance. Hint of banana bread. And a smooth beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2018 Aroma interrssante de essência banana, mas doce e enjoativo. Com âmbar, bonita, mas o colarinho é quase inexistente. Sabor leve, fraco. Aguada.

Bottle 0,5. Pours amber, without head. Cheap, metallic and watery banana taste. No character at all. Like some failed brewing experiment. On the other hand, I noticed that there are people that like this beer. Personally, I prefer when beer tastes more like beer.

500ml bottle from Pop Inn, Reading. Medium / dark amber colour with off-white head. Big sweet banana bread malt, banana bubblegum, overripe banana, metallic notes. Pretty one dimensional but nice enough.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Color is amber and clear clear with a small white head. Aroma is banana and hops. Taste of hops and aftertaste of banan. Nice and sweet but some odd beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I don’t like Banana Bread so this wasn’t going to be my number one. Overall a well made original beer. Strong nose of bananas, more subtle taste nicely balanced of with bitterness. Too highly carbonated for my liking.

Although I don’t like banana that much, the beer has a nice flavor and taste. It could have more banana on it, not just the aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
