This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Its called banana bread beer...I suppose if you dont want a beer that tastes like banana bread you should figure that out before you buy it. Definitely a novelty item, wouldnt drink it regularly. Aroma smells like banana bread...pours a dark amber. Upon first sip, you taste bananas, but not too strong. The beer around the bananas is just alright. But when you open your mouth, you taste nothing but banana bread! Burps too. Overall, a good time.

My feeling of dread was well-founded. Medium amber. Smelled like bananas, tasted like banana bread. As advertised, but just not my thing. A bit thin on the palate with some carbonic bite. The spouse usually likes banana accented beers, but she didnt really go for this one. And I hate bananas.

Dark amber color with a thick offwhite head. Sweet aroma with a light maltiness and banana candy. Fresh flavor of malt and... yes, banana. Finishing with a hint of bitterness to balance the sweetness.
