COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Awful, I love bananas, and it smells interesting. Then the flavor is just awful.

My feeling of dread was well-founded. Medium amber. Smelled like bananas, tasted like banana bread. As advertised, but just not my thing. A bit thin on the palate with some carbonic bite. The spouse usually likes banana accented beers, but she didnt really go for this one. And I hate bananas.

Yes, its bottled. Pours out in a clear amber colour with a thick off-white head. Metallic aroma with notes of banana-split. Medium-bodied with notes of toffee, sugar and over-riped banana. Metallic finish of banana. Why?

Dark amber color with a thick offwhite head. Sweet aroma with a light maltiness and banana candy. Fresh flavor of malt and... yes, banana. Finishing with a hint of bitterness to balance the sweetness.

Nice big head with heavily carbonated bubbles. Settles failry fast. Amber body thats sort of on the orange side. Lots of carbonation in the body too. Aroma of well ripened bananas. Banana flavor is pretty good in the beer, but its not overly sweet as they have plenty of hops in there which leaves a large amount of bitterness on the palate. Perhaps even a bit too much bitterness.Interestingly, my mouth has a "pasty" aftertaste which reminds me of the pasty aftertaste I have after Ive eaten a banana. Definately unique and should be tried if only just to try it! Is my rating too high? Im giving it a high flavor rating because of its uniqueness and the fact it isnt nasty unique, if that makes sense.
