Bottled 50cl. It pours a clear copper beer with a small head. The nose is of glue, banana and herbs. Very sweet taste. Light bitterness. Not much lacework. Very low carbonation. Medium bodied. Metallic finish with residual sugars. Poor michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 18, 2008
500ml Bottle: Aroma of banana, spices, and light caramel malt. Poured amber in color with a tiny white head that disappeared right away. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of banana, bubble gum, grains, light malts, and sweetener. Light to medium body. Thin, watery, then chalky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Sweet, banana finish. Pretty damn bad. daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - NOV 1, 2008
Bottle from Greens in Atlanta. Brown pour. Smells of banana bread. Tastes like some artificial banana bread candy. Not sweet and pretty damn boring. Very thing mouthfeel. Not a winner. dirt55 (198) - Washington, USA - NOV 1, 2008
bottled, pours mid/dark brown with small white head, great aroma of banana’s with spices as expected, tastes same as smell with very light malt in end with hops on palate, not bad at all mjg74 (3151) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 30, 2008
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods. Dark brownish amber in color. Strong banana aroma. Sweet banana up front. Good spices and yeast. Much like an amped up sweet hefe. Grainy and bitter finish. I really dig it.

This ale poured a nice deep orange colour with a quickly dissipating, bright white head. Scents include bananas, bubblegum, spice and cinnamon? First taste was smooth with a little carbonation bite. Flavours of bananas most prodominant. Spicey finish with a slight hoppy bitterness to the palate. kidmartinek (5001) - austin, Texas, USA - OCT 26, 2008
A rich clear copper color with a nice frothy 1 inch off-white head. Smells really good like banana, sugar, and fosters with malt and beer notes. Smells like a banana milkshake basically. Tastes like a nice balanced malt and hops beer with some bananas mixed in. Aroma is better than flavor. The finish is where the spicy bread cake taste comes out. WOW! The name says it all, especially for the aroma: vanilla, slight yeast, and loads of sweet fake banana. Pours a crystal clear golden amber with well retained off white head. Flavor is very nicely ’banana bread’ -walnuts included! -not like the typical ’banana’ flavors and aromas that come from a german hefewiezen. The carbonation is a bit on the high side. I would love this beer if it were just a bit creamier, and fuller bodied. But as is, a great novelty brew. Not even that expensive. sebletitje (10282) - Enghien, BELGIUM - OCT 22, 2008

Pours amber, beige head.
Aroma, filled with banana. Smell was strong enough and did not leave me the impression of getting yet another beer filled with extracts.
Taste, sweet, banana all over, sugary and malty.
Well executed, very refreshing and flavorful. aracauna (3651) - Georgia, USA - OCT 20, 2008
Pours a dark, crystal clear copper with a large head. The aroma is a shock of banana, which first comes across as fairly genuine, but on closer inspection has a bit of an artificial quality to it. There is a slight nuttiness to the malt, giving the banana bread gimmick support, but it falls flat in the flavor as it finishes very dry. It would have been more satisfying if it had been a bit chewier in the mouthfeel.
