This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Nope. This was quite awful. I really saw nothing that worked well. I think that the bananas resulted in a very metallic taste that I certainly did not want to drink. I love the concept, but I think this did not work at all.

Caramel in colour no head. Strong syrupy banana aroma. Had a distinct banana flavour. Weird and unusual beer but I did like it.

Amber-copper color with a nice lacing head. In Banana aroma dominates the nose, some yeast and malt perfume. The banana dominates the flavour too with a balanced hop, moderated carbonation, some bittery finish, little ale character. But this beer is not a strong ale...

A copper color with a minimal white head. The aroma contains banana pudding pops and caramel. The flavor contains some dark fruits and a huge dose of artifical banana flavors. Some bready notes can also be detected. Overall this pretty much sucks.

Bottle. Pours clear orangish yellow with just a few fizzy bubbles for a head. Smells like bananas and some yeast and malts. Tastes like banana and crisp malt. Sweet with a crisp maltiness backing it up. Thin body, crisp carbonation.

Pours a crystal clear copper color with a white head. Aroma is banana candy. Flavor is malty, crystal malt, grain, banana, and a bitter earthy finish.

Pours a crystal clear dark gold to light copper colored body under a fizzy off-white one finger head. Lots of fine carbonation. Aroma is well, all bananas, what’s more to say? Very much like those Laffy Taffy candies. A little nutty and toasted maltiness below. Quite unusual flavor. Very much like very over-ripe brown bananas that have reached their height of sweetness just before rotting. Toasted grainy crystal malt base with a lingering band-aid laced finish. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with a bit of a grainy huskiness on the finish. Moderate soft fizzy carbonation. An odd treat. Doesn’t rate too well, but I actually enjoyed it.

Bottle white, 1 pint.

Appearance: Head is initially mediocre, size is very small and immediatelly diminishing to nothingbut the minimal, white ring on the rim of the glass, no lacing at all. Body is very clear and transparent. Medium bodied beer. Carbonation is very weak, a flat beer, body colour is nothing more but nice amber, it looks like a tea.

Aroma: Artificial aroma of banana. It has an aroma of banana from powder or from bananas in chockolate, (rather not fres aroma of banana) connected with some hoppy skunkness and small amount of nice malts, some notes of sweetness (chockolate like), white bread, flour, the aroma of banana is so strong and unexpected that I feel almost some aroma of sweet flowers.

Flavour: Malty sweet with nice contrast of hoppy bitterness, the flavour of banana is more natural than aroma but still not authentic, a little bit wattery, sweeter than a bitter but there is still an existance of some bitter flavuor, the banana flavour is very well build in and you can only criticise this beer when you don’t like banana flavuor or do not expect the beer to carry it flavuor. The alcohol is becoming present when the beer is warmer and the banana tasted is blended with dark- bread base of toasted malts and burned sugar that gives bitterness. Body is medium to full. The more beer you drink, the more your nose acquives to the taste of banana which at finish seems natural.

Palate: Body palate is medium, finish is long, alcoholic, dry, bitterness. Texture is dry and creamy.

The aroma of ripe banana and bready malts fills your nose as you pour this beautiful golden amber brew. It forms a modest off white head with lots of little bubbles streaming up the sides of the glass. The flavor is full of over ripe bananas with nuty and sweet bready malts. It’s light to medium bodied, well carbonated and it has a slick almost oily texture. An excellent brew.
