This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

50cl bottle from Kaubamaja, Tallinn. Pours clear dark golden to amber, with a modest off-white head. Certainly banana on the nose as I pour. Fruity and malty, fair amount of ripe bananas and some caramel too. Does actually remind me of banana bread. Sweet and somewhat unusual, but fairly drinkable.

The banana doesnt seem like real banana and more candy sugar like fake banana. I likes the colour really liked the amount of bitterness and carbonation, but that banana is well over the top and insistent that its a beer that ends up hard to take seriously.

This is just weird. All has an artificial, chemical feel to it. Not too bad, it is just very weird. Gift from uckelman

Aroma; bread, banana, caramel, dough. No surprise. Look; off white head, clear deep golden body. Taste; bread, wort, banana, lemon, caramel, lemongrass - fruity semi dry finish. Feel; semi dry. Overall; interesting. [35.5cl/12FLoz.Btl 5.2% [email protected]]

0,5l bottle. Clear deep copper colour with quickly disappearing medium sized white head. Aroma: Candy sugar, honey, banana, floral notes. Taste: Sweet start with a marginal brandy and biscuit-like caracter but quickly disappears and has some sour and bitter mouthfeel with a buttery (brandy/wiskey) tone. Quite oily. Light/medium body with medium carbonation. Long bitter and wiskey-like boozy finish. Not bad, especially the aroma but the strong wiskey caracter is not my favourite in this one.

Its a clear amber with proper foam, little lacing. Intense ripe banana smell. Predominant taste is banana natrlich with some lemonade effect. Finish is like banana filled chewing gum.

Shared bottle. Clear amber, off-white head. Aroma of banana nut bread. Taste is banana, nuts, toffee, and alcohol. Mild sweetness, but lacks bitterness. Interesting.

500 ml Bottle. Pour: in Erdinger Weissbier glass, bright copper with big white head diminishing to a fine 1/8" with nice lacing. Aroma: banana with complex spice, aromatic cedar, malt, bread but less than expected. Taste: crisp, dry, obvious banana, more spice. Artificial banana is there but less of a distraction than I expected. Still, maybe the banana flavour addition is not necessary. Low bitterness, maybe a slight saccharine-like edge. I was pleasantly surprised. Would get this again, but not twice in the same day. I feel a Weissbier glass is perfect for this offering.
