COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Poured from a pint bottle into a goblet ...pours a rich amber with a nice head that seems to be gone in seconds ...smell is of baked bread and a lot of banana ...taste is very much the same as the smell... loads of banana and a nice malt back bone and a small touch of hops this beer is a great break away from my go to beers ...all in all pretty damn tasty ....cheers

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2017 Cerveja bem enjoativa, corpo médio-denso, com sabor desequilibrado, pendendo demais para banana madura.

Kerge banaan on lõhnas ja maitses tunda, aga muidu suht ilmetu, pea olematu kehaga, jook.

This is not a cheap novelty beer. It drinks very smooth and has a nice and refined taste. It is very accurately 'banana bread' and is well executed. I would not want to drink 3 of these at a time but it is a very good once in a while beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle at home. Hazy dark amber with a thin off white head. Plenty of banana right up front. Dark malt, bread, raisin, candied fruit. Sweet banana finish. Something of a novelty, probably not gonna drink a bunch of these at once, but not a bad change of pace for a one-off (dessert?).

Flaska systembolaget. Eldig orange kulr. Tydlig doft av banan. Konstlad sdan. ven brd och h. Smaken i stort stt samma. Banan! Dock inte s ptaglig och st som jag mindes den frn frsta gngen jag drack den fr ngra r sedan. Fortfarande ingen vidare l dock.

Agree with everyone else that there´s a LOT of banana taste here, more banana than beer really. Nice for a change, interesting and certainly drinkable. Not my thing though, I prefer a stronger hops and malts component and less fruit.

If you don’t like banana bread, you will not like this beer. It tastes very clearly of bananas. I happen to love bananas, so I don’t mind this. However, I probably could not drink more than 1 or 2 of these in a sitting.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2017 Pours a nice golden orangey-ish colour, can really smell the bananas. as expected a strong taste on banana and a strong sense that this is 5.2%. This is a beer of acquired taste, it's not for everyone, but people who are akin to wheat beers or white beers may enjoy this. This is one of my favourite beers and would highly recommend if you like bananas. I wouldn't go crazy on it though, it's quite a heavy drink so two maybe three bottles at the most would be enough.
