This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Clear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, banana sweet, "skumbananer".. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate spicy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20090510]

58.6 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a slowly diminished white head. Aroma is sweet and slight rotten banana. Fruity banana flavoured, yet with a vague residual sweetness and somewhat dry and slight bitter. Bitter and dry finish. Slight metallic touch - DNF.

A beutiful chestnut brown beer with a fine ligth brown head. The aroma is dominated by banana. The flavor is first banana, then malt sweet, then back to banana, then a nice bitterness, and ending on a long lingering banana note. A great balance and a great complexity in the flavor. A fine and very special beer.

Clear amber coloured with a medium sized off white head.
Aroma of bananas and grass.
Flavour of bananas with notes of grass and hops.
Hoppy finish.
Not as cloying as the other banana beers I’ve had, but bananas and beers are a bad combination !

Bottled. Deep honeyish golden colour, big creamy/fluffy beige head. Aroma is banana with some slight hints of salted cookies and mild honey. Flavour is bananaish sweet white bread along with some flowery hops lurking in the background.

Bottle courtesy of Savannah, thank you ma’am! I didn’t have high expectations for this one, but it was drinkable. The aroma is exactly banana bread. The taste seems a bit contrived and artificial, with almonds and toffee. Not bad.

Ruby in colour, sweet banana, overpowering banana flavour with sweet malt, but it grown on you.

Dark amber. Big banana aroma. Rather sweet, really malty with lingering banana flavour. An interesting experiment, and well carried out.
