Clear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, banana sweet, "skumbananer".. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate spicy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft.
58.6 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a slowly diminished white head. Aroma is sweet and slight rotten banana. Fruity banana flavoured, yet with a vague residual sweetness and somewhat dry and slight bitter. Bitter and dry finish. Slight metallic touch - DNF. A beutiful chestnut brown beer with a fine ligth brown head. The aroma is dominated by banana. The flavor is first banana, then malt sweet, then back to banana, then a nice bitterness, and ending on a long lingering banana note. A great balance and a great complexity in the flavor. A fine and very special beer. joergen (27984) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 10, 2005
Clear amber coloured with a medium sized off white head.
Aroma of bananas and grass.
Flavour of bananas with notes of grass and hops.
Not as cloying as the other banana beers I’ve had, but bananas and beers are a bad combination ! oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 5, 2007
Bottled. Deep honeyish golden colour, big creamy/fluffy beige head. Aroma is banana with some slight hints of salted cookies and mild honey. Flavour is bananaish sweet white bread along with some flowery hops lurking in the background.

Bottle. Clear copper colour with very small tan head. Banana aroma. Banana bread flavor with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) 5.5% ABV in my version. Clear, deep copper colour with a small, off-white head. Nose full of banana. Flavours full of banana, but not stickingly sweet as in other (Belgian) examples of the style. This is quite dry, almost lacking a hint of sweetness. Light bitter finish. Very drinkable. 220902 omhper (24980) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 26, 2002
Dark amber. Big banana aroma. Rather sweet, really malty with lingering banana flavour. An interesting experiment, and well carried out. madmitch76 (24511) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 17, 2010

Warning! Early amateur rating! Moderate carbonation. Pronounced estery banana flavour. Easy drinking, not bad at all.
Bottle courtesy of Savannah, thank you ma’am! I didn’t have high expectations for this one, but it was drinkable. The aroma is exactly banana bread. The taste seems a bit contrived and artificial, with almonds and toffee. Not bad.
