COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours clear goldish dark orange. Nose is sweet, fresh banana with candy sugar. The taste is a little bready and not as sweet as the nose suggests, but still very banana-y. An interesting beer.

Nice yellow-orange color. Strong aroma of banana bread. very crisp. some fruity banana flavor. I would have liked it to have more bread flavor.

Dark Amber colour. Quick disapating foam. Old banana and perfumy to the nose. Bit sweet. Same old banana and perfumy taste as in aroma just a bit dulled. Hardly any hop bitterness. -23A

Not a very strong aroma, tiny notes of banana. Very tasty not too sweet. Hops a little grassy. The Beer is dark brown in colour.

Poured from a 330 cl bottle an amber beer with a very slight delicate head that dissapears quickly with a slight lacing around the glass. Aroma is definately the best feature with strong banana, banana candy (runts), some vanilla and banana bread. Flavor is somewhat dissapointing but not nessesarily bad just not what I expected. Very minimal banana flavor with virtually no nose or palate. A refreshing beer but not what I expected.

Surprisingly good! I made sure to check the bottling date, and at less than a month old I picked it up. Not terribly attractive pour, light golden, fizzy, thin white / tan head. Smells like fresh beer and quite noticably like banana bread. Taste was sweet, slightly creamy, with a golden honey ale in the background. Nicely balanced banana flavor. Will try again!

Well, the Banana Bread beer (bottle) smells and tastes just like the label says it should, but I think you can enjoy this stuff even if youíre not a fan of banana bread. Itís a murky brown-orange with a little off-white head. I was also kind of drunk when I finally got around to this one, so I was totally enthralled by the aroma. I thought that maybe the taste was heavier on the bread (wheat, grain, whatever) than the banana, but that was okay. Banana Bread beer is really pretty fun, even if itís only a novelty brew. And, even though itís the morning after, I can still taste it (or at least I think I can).

Bottle - World Market - Funny that the aroma was mid-range for me with all the banana flavor. A little bubble gum taste makes it interesting. Golden straw color with medium head but good retention. Bittering aftertaste but not bad, just enough to notice. Overall a great beer thatís different. Donít know about filling the cooler up at the lake but would definatly have a couple before bedtime.

The aroma of banana hits immediately upon opening the bottle, becoming more prominent upon pouring. Pours a dark brown, with minimal head. Aromas of bread, bananas, wheat, malt. Flavor of banana, with some mild bitterness.
