COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

The aroma of banana hits immediately upon opening the bottle, becoming more prominent upon pouring. Pours a dark brown, with minimal head. Aromas of bread, bananas, wheat, malt. Flavor of banana, with some mild bitterness.

Beerclubsa (147) - Strand, SOUTH AFRICA - SEP 19, 2016
Pours a dark golden, very clear with a very loosely packed off white head and lacing. Aromas of spiced caramelised bananas. Palate is medium light, with medium carbonation. Flavour is caramelised banana with bready malt and very light bitterness. Slightly watery, but otherwise does what it says on the label. Couldnt drink a lot but really does taste like banana bread.

Pours a golden/copper colour with a medium white head that thins quickly. The aroma is of bananas and other sweet, fruity esters. There is the slight flavour of bananas and malt with a slightly bitter aftertaste which is not overly palatable. Overall this beer is nothing special.

Bottle - World Market - Funny that the aroma was mid-range for me with all the banana flavor. A little bubble gum taste makes it interesting. Golden straw color with medium head but good retention. Bittering aftertaste but not bad, just enough to notice. Overall a great beer thats different. Dont know about filling the cooler up at the lake but would definatly have a couple before bedtime.

curepute (141) - New York, USA - JAN 14, 2014
Nose is lagerish with a good hint of sweet banana and caramel. Dark golden, bright and clear. Taste is: a light ale with banana, caramel, light hops. Finishes with light bitterness. Reminds me of crap beer I drank when I was young (but with bananas thrown in).

Aroma malt and banana (quite bready), powerful banana flavours. Bitter-sweet finish. Very tasty but one to be taken in small measure.

Bottled. Golden amber color, minimal lacing. Bright fresh banana in the nose. Banana bread, earthy, and sweet taste. Finishes bread and wheaty. Pretty decent banana beer. Not to bad

orange to red in color, quickly disappating head, medium sweetness backed up by a dry bitterness from the hops. Good balance of yeast bread notes backed up by the flavor of banana.

Yeasty aroma (with bananaish overtones of course) with a small, offwhite head. Light copper in appearance. Taste is similar to the aroma; mostly malty with a hint of banana. Slightly bitter aftertaste. A light beer overall, worth trying once, but nothing too special.

Smells like banana bread. Tastes pretty decent, too. Not very carbonated though. Still, generally a solid beer.
