I can say i have only had this beer once, but i loved it. From everything i remember, it had an amazing banana taste. I will have another please. MustangMarkF (250) - Coventry, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2012
500ml Bottle. The thing about this beer, before I start to review it properly, is that it does what it says on the label - it is banana bread (no not bananas but BANANA BREAD) in liquid and alcohollic form - it is bloody lovely!!! That said.... Aroma is banana, cloves, cinnemon, brown sugar, malt, and yeast. Appearance wise it looks like a standard brown ale and it pours fairly weakly. Dont let that put you off because the taste is wonderful and what this beer is all about - pure banana bread, not bananas, not bread but banana bread. Fantastic!!! You wouldnt want to have more than one or two of these as its so rich. hippiemusic (58) - Florida, USA - NOV 9, 2013
I’m not a huge fan of fruit beers, but this ones a winner. The aroma lets you know what it says on the bottle. I’m wondering if Wells used hops in this one, can’t put my finger on any. scarpin (52) - BRAZIL - OCT 25, 2014
Wonderful aroma. Nice banana aroma and taste. A high level of sugar in paladar. Overall is very very different and good. ursa93 (3) - SLOVENIA - NOV 10, 2015 does not count

On pour got a very fizzy drink, a lot of carbonation. When it settled down a decent sized frothy head appeared, looked decent. Head looks good, nice and creamy looking.
Head does die a little and there is some slight lacing.
The colour was dark amber, with a tint of red, and overall the beer looks the part…..
The aroma is of…..well, bananas!
Lovely clear, fruity smell, gorgeous, and I dont even like bananas, ha ha! Strong but not overpowering, very pleasant and very tempting.
Smells of banana bread, with a hint of toffee……
Taste: Well it does exactly what it says on the tin, its all banana
A beer with banana, tastes like beer with banana! But its lovely, very smooth, doesn’t taste a lot like beer at all. Very sweet, but still smooth enough to drink. A bit of caramel noted as well.
At first I thought the alcohol content of 5.2% wasn’t apparent, but I think it does kick in near the end.
Everyone in the house had a try, went down a storm, all liked it.
There is a slight hoppy aftertaste that is a bit urgh, and it could do with more body, but overall very smooth. It is different, so hats off to the brewers for trying something new, refreshing and all good. I am not sure you could down a lot of these in a session, but definitely would be great to sip on a hot day. Recommended, and looking forward to trying this beer out again soon. My favourite liquid pudding tasting of bread, dough, banana, amber, clear, frothy, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, creamy, lively, long finish, nice after taste. Good any time of the day Cantabrian (1130) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 21, 2012
What a delight! I passed the pint around the household. They all tried it and they all loved it. What is it precisely? I don’t have to say that this little beer is just perfectly crafted, round, sweet, malty and ripe. But it couldn’t be just a flavour of fresh bananas, for fresh bananas are not THAT nice. Of course they are free trade, how magnanimously correct of W&Y, but fresh bananas usually don’t have that sweet, fruity flavour. This is more like chewing gum. It’s one of those combined fruit-flavours of Juicy Fruit chewing gum, the William Wrigley Company ones. That’s probably why everyone likes it. It is a firm flavour and it does not fade away as chewing gum does, invariably ending up tasting like saliva. The flavour in Banana Bread stays. It must be the beer version of the Everlasting Gobstoppers. Right, they do mention banoffee. Well, I’d say it’s banana cake. Yes, a delicious banana cake, curvy, perfumed and cosy, teasing the senses and seducing the palate. Perhaps one of those Nigella Lawson recipes. There you go! That’s the reason why everyone loves the seduction of this beer. optemoz (171) - Apex, North Carolina, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Bottle - let me just say, I LOVE BANANA so I may be a little biased. Pour is a see thru amber with almost no head. Smelled the bottle when I opened and I fell in love. Great sweet banana aroma. The taste is everything I expected and more. I was hoping it wasn't overly sweet and it wasn't at all. Great crisp finish with a bready banana loveliness.. Overall, I could drink this anytime of year and love it 9/10!

I’m a sucker for this delicious beer. The light banana on the aroma and taste is balanced to perfection. Has a decent amount of bitterness and hoppiness to make this sessionable.
