3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
16.9 oz. bottle from Sam’s, $1.99.
Pours a medium clear copper with a fluffy white head. Leaves pretty decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is mostly caramelized banana, a touch of that fake candied banana, but not overly artificial. Flavor is moderately sweet malt notes with moderate banana flavor. It actually does taste quite a bit like banana bread. Finish is mildly bittered and clean, with a soft aftertaste of ripe banana. Medium body, fairly crisp carbonation. Strange beer, but pretty tasty and definitely worth a try.

Well. Its a lot of banana here. Banana all the way. There is also a kind of edical taste, like the dentist some years ago. Now Ive tried it and iam not impressed. k_gadeberg (77) - Århus, DENMARK - AUG 6, 2017
Pours golden, without head.
Lots of co2, first bitterness, then a watery kind of banana taste.
Notes of bread and yeast, really a beer that splits people, either you like or hate it. Stultus (173) - ESTONIA - JUL 28, 2017
Pours clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of malty syrpuy caramel and banana. Taste is malty sweetish followed by light bitterness and then a medium banana sweetness. HULK777 (608) - - JUL 18, 2017
Sweet candy banana aroma with hints of sugar cake. Sweet, watery, banana taste.

This is a love or hate it beer, Captured the banana bread taste with bready malts. Has a natural dry banana taste rather than a synthetic syrupy taste. It’s quite sweet with some Muscovado sugar and light bitterness on the aftertaste. Tried around 2008. HopsDoctor83 (16) - Walsall, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2017 My favourite liquid pudding tasting of bread, dough, banana, amber, clear, frothy, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, creamy, lively, long finish, nice after taste. Good any time of the day joshterschoell (3) - Rowlett, Texas, USA - JUN 30, 2017 does not count
Wonderful taste. If there was a mead/chunky breadlike consistency, you would think your eating blended banana bread. Delicious dessert beer. I recommend cleansing the pallette before enjoying. No hangover effects, so enjoy, but don’t drive. AleRider78 (1333) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2017
Pours a frothy average amount of head but goes away quickly and leaves very little. Fairly weak lacing. Has a golden amber colour. Definitely has a banana like aroma, slightly bready and herbal hops. Flavours are quite distinctly banana bread, toffee sweetness with notes of caramel and spices. Slick oily mouthfeel with a prickly sensation. Slight bitterness. Really good sweet beer that’s not too offensive or over the top with the banana, but 1 or 2 will suffice in one sitting.

Bananas and toffee scents. Pours a honey brown with a dissipating off-white head. Lots of lacing. Banana flavors are not overwhelming and sit nicely with a steady ESB underneath. Dry mouthfeel with above average carbonation. Nice as a novelty.
