COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Occasional.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2017 Banana aroma just warms all your senses. Golden in colour light head inviting you to just keep partaking. Toffee notes mix with the strong banana aroma. Creamy mellow and a dessert without the meal. It is just what the pump picture shows bananas on tap

Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of banana, some toffee, bready malts, a little nuts, a hint of fruit and subtle yeast. Taste of banana, toffee, bready malts, slight nuts, a little fruit and subtle yeast. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, banana and malty bitterness in the finish. Nostalgic because this is one of the first ever beers I really enjoyed and I know it’s quite artificial and thin but it’s really flavourful and smooth. A treat to see on cask again.

Cask at the Crosse key, bank. Thought I'd had this before. A clear amber copper coloured pour with a halo if beige head. Aroma is sweet, bruised banana, nutty malts, toffee. Cola cubes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, ripe banana, flavourings, nutty malts, barbecued banana and toffee.. Palate is semi sweet, toffee, decent cask condition. Not bad.

Cask handpull at Hamilton Hall London as Wells Banana Bread Beer. Pours a dark amber orange, totally clear and still, foamy beige head. Aroma is banana bread and banana cake, foam banana sweets. Pretty inviting. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is exactly the same as the aroma. Mostly foam banana sweets with a light resinous bitterness. Very fun stuff, and actually nowhere near as bad as I feared it might be. (7-4-5-4-14=3.4)

Clear amber. Medium body, mildly flavored, good balance, restrained carbonation and heat, average length. Dry, medium bitterness, crisp. Malty, yeasty, clearcut banana flavor. Interesting because of the banana flavor, nothing else. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drinkable with a fake banana flavour - even though real bananas are used. OK, but a little odd.

Pours clear dark golden amber color. Aroma of malt, fruit, banana. Taste is light sweet fruit. Medium-light body, light dry bitter finish. Good overall.

Aroma: banana yogurt, artificial banana flavouring. Appearance: warm, golden brown; clear; head medium plus, unstable. Taste: mildly sour, just a tad sweet. Palate: body light; carbonation almost fizzy; mouth feel spicy, peppery; finish Netaji tasteless, peppery. Overall: I love the peppery mouth feel; but I also hate the chemical aroma and I’m not particularly impressed by how watery it is.
