Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask at the Queen Adelaide, Wandsworth, 8th Feb 2011. Strong banana milkshake nose. Copper colour. Thin palate. Bready and banana-y taste. Gasperoo (9) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2011 does not count
Does what it says on the label! Had a session drinking this recently at the Elbow Room, Tottenham, London N17, and the banana flavour was repeating on me for days. Much better in cask than in bottle, with a much rounder chewy maltiness. The bottled beer can taste a little thin, like Bombardier with some essence of Banana added. In cask it tastes more like an experimental craft beer. It tastes better than it has a right to. jredmond (8283) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 15, 2011
Cask at RnH listed as Banana Bread Bitter with Linh, Streets, Goldylocks, and Grandpa. Pours deep red with no head or lacing. Aroma is light sweet banana desert. Mouthfeel is super light and smooth with light notes of banana candy and slight dryness. wheresthepath (2332) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2011
[Cask at Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading] Light amber, small white head and a modest fizz. Gentle creamy mouthfeel. Banana cake throughout with a soft maltiness. A gentle friendly beer, much nicer than the bottled version, but still rather too sweet by the end.

Cask @ Henglers Circus, JDW. Clear orange colour, dense white head. Aroma of banana, foamy banana candy, bread. Flavour is sweet banana, light bready, a bit dry. It has banana and it has bread just as promised, but not really my kind of thing. dynamiteninja (1863) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2011
Cask. The Last Plantagenet (JDW), Leicester. Thin white head, brown body. Foam banana, banana milkshake, biscuity malt. Bitter, with a bitter finish. yespr (45398) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2011
From cask at Willow Walk. Pours deep amber, clear, and with a small off-white head. Aroma is distinct banana fruity. Flavour too is fresh, yet not overly sweet banana flavoured. Doesn’t come through too artificially. Yet not my thing. Ends medium dry. Leighton (21231) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 24, 2011
Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear, red-gold pour with a creamy, bubbly white head. Artificial banana bread nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, banana-flavored candy, hints of bitterness. Medium bodied, slighty syrupy with average carbonation. Sweet finish, more of the same faux-banana character. Not terrible but doesn’t do too much for me. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2011
Cask Conditioned handpump Rowell Charter Rothwell. A mid brown coloured beer with a good white head and a little lace. Bananas throughout. Pretty strong in both nose and mouth. A decent body to the beer and drinkable although does feel a bit gimmicky. Some strawberries and custard too. Tolerable enough.
