Acquired in trade with Chopz. Pours an average size foamy head and goes away quickly and leaves a thin layer. Dirty lacing. Has a copper light brown appearance. Aromas of light malts, floral hops and grains. Flavours are mainly spiced and floral hops, light citrus flavours as well. Not very bitter at all, very mild. Has somewhat of a sweet tangy taste, hints of caramel. Medium retention, with an unbalanced sweet/bitter finish. Slick chalky mouthfeel. Not bad, just not with the hoppiness I was expecting. Too weak. mhbrown89 (1) - - NOV 20, 2014 does not count
Not a bad beer, but nothing special. To quote the Welsh lad I'm with, "forgettable". johndoughty (5438) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2014
Bottle.Bronze with a small head. Slightly hoppy but this flavour soon fades. Nothing like an IPA, never again. madmitch76 (24789) - , Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 17, 2013

Bright clear amber beer, tidy off white head. Light crisp palate. Obvious pale malt before mild minerally hop. Tangy watered down orange. Very minerally crisp finish. Not bad - quite drinkable.
Przeciętny by nie powiedzieć słaby bitter.

Bottle from the one of the supermarkets. It pours clear amber with a thin frothy white head and broken lace. Big earthy malty aroma. Some bitterness and malt in the flavour, but none of the floral hoppiness that some might be expecting. A perfectly drinkable session beer, but that’s where it ends. Bottle 500ml. Aroma is almost exclusively malts - maybe the slightest hint of hops in there too - but generally earthy and malty. It pours with a medium off white head over a dark amber body. It tastes of malts, then hops, then more malts and has a dry almost bitter finish. Overall a good session beer, quite full bodied for a 3.6%er. tommann (3746) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2012
500ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a medium head. Aroma is dusty, yeasty and grainy. Taste has caramel and tea to start. Dusty, carbonated water finish. BlackHaddock (7319) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2012
8th Oct 2012: 500ml bottle, best before 20 Dec 2012. Poured into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged vase shaped pint glass. This is the first beer of an IPA tasting session I’m having by myself.
Looks good: true amber body, clean, bright and clear, on top a full covering of tight foaming bubbles.
The nose is fairly malty for an IPA, where are the hops?
Ha, the hops appear in the taste: this is a dry, bitter IPA (for the Uk) with a crisp sharpness and bite to the mouth feel. Well rounded beer for such a low alcohol content, the semi-sweet malts not quiet keeping the lively hops in check and the finish reminding you it’s an IPA you’re drinking.
Very pleasant and easy to drink: an ideal start to my evenings entertainment of IPA-ness.
