Tap at the Great Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy long-lasting white head. The aroma is light floral hop, yeast. The flavour is light to moderate bitter with a bubbly mineral cardboard light sweet toffee malt palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. kermis (14553) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 29, 2016

Dorado limpio y espuma blanca ligeramente. Aroma de diacetilo suave. En boca es ligera con sabor a yogurt. vinivini (3009) - Gomel, BELARUS - FEB 13, 2015
Golden colour, minimal well lacing head. Aroma of malts, corn, some cardboard notes. Light body. Malty sweet taste. Low bitterness. The ending is not convincing. Surely not the worse Lager ever. erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAR 16, 2014
Simple appearance with small head. Very light mist. Moderate yet sharp carbonation, which I like. Quite dry and with a bitter bite in the end. Simple malt profile but the bitterness makes good a lot actually. Better than expected. (At an English pub next to Gare Paris Montparnasse)

Originally rated March 2005. This premium lager pours a beautiful golden-amber colour, with a fat creamy head and very good retention. The lacing, as well, is thick and fat. Very nice for a lager. The scent is pretty malty with hints of corn (which is one the ingredients). The taste is smooth, with a slight bitterness and a corny finish. Carbonation is very lively. A 3mm layer coats the brew all the way down. Amazing ! Charles Wells products never seem to deceive me for low budget brews. Quite a pleasant drink, for just a plain lager. Premium... sorry. northropfrye (3693) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 8, 2011
Can. Pale and clear. Medium. A little watery. Inoffensive but nothing interesting. Spab (4081) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 30, 2008
500 ml can. Pours a clear light orange/gold with very minimal white head. Mild nose of malt. Flavour of grain and corn with mild hops in the finish. Not dreadful but pretty bland. mmacleod75 (112) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2008
Poured from can. Nice color, Nice frothy head. Clean tasting, but sort of average too. Wasn’t greatly impressed, but wasn’t bad either. imdownthepub (15333) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 30, 2008
Tin, 500ml shared with Phil. Pale gold with white fizzed head. Thin, corny, cereal lager with metallic and cardboard notes. A little late citrus note, but this just emphasises how bad the rest is. Not good.
