Tin, 500ml shared with Phil. Pale gold with white fizzed head. Thin, corny, cereal lager with metallic and cardboard notes. A little late citrus note, but this just emphasises how bad the rest is. Not good. kermis (12869) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 29, 2016

2005 can at the Mondial, 6/4/05. Clear golden-straw color, large bubbles and a moderate amount of bubbly white head, poor retention, no lacing. Aroma of soft grassy hops, no bitterness. Touches of sweet sugary malt, light hay and biscuits, cornbread. Flavor has a plasticy edge to it, kind of like pine-sol on vinyl tiles, and then some cheap sugary notes, followed by a drying effect from hops, I guess. Little bit of corniness throughout, with a slightly metallic finish and a medium-light body, though not terribly watery. Just rather stale and bland for the most part. Moderate carbonation is not overly sharp.
