Clear deep red - amber beer, good pale tan head. Nose of sweet caramel. Palate is light and semi dry with a good fine minerally crispness. Taste follows the nose and yes a little toffee in there as well. Modest fruits underneath. Light crisp finish. There is an artificiality to this beer that eventually starts to grate but in the short term it’s good fun.

Bottle at Firkin Ale House Folkestone, Clear mahogany colour lasting beige head. Toffee on aroma no doubt. Flavour doesn’t live up to the aroma. Pasteurised and dead fizzy toffee. Good aroma then fades.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with off white head. Nose/taste of toffee, caramel, fuggles, burnt sugar, pudding and a touch of bitterness in finish. Lighter medium body. Not bad.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2017 500ml bottle - thanks Marduk! (5:4:6:2:11=2.8)
Sweet toffee and artificial E-number sweetener aroma. Taste similar. Watery palate, a bit of fizziness cuts through the sweetness. So many E numbers with that I think I'm gonna get tongue cancer.

Only seven ratings, and I pick this up in a small store in an outlying (but nouveau) area. Bottle from RoCo in West Sacramento, CA. Pours very dark and ruddy copper (strong light) with a slight beige head. Well the aroma is clearly toffee. Mayhap some graham flour. Med body, so it’s not too thick. Flavor is toffee, graham, and I think coffee. At least a little dark fruit. Intriguing drink. Bet it would go well poured over vanilla ice cream.
