500ml bottle from Beers of Europe (£2.29):Cunningham (7861) - Halden, NORWAY - NOV 28, 2014
This one was another really good beer from Weltenburg, definitely a brewery that seems to constantly deliver for me and this one was no exception. The beer was very smooth and really easy to drink, the palate being a particular highlight but the taste and smell were not back either. Very refreshing and with some good fruits and citrus coming through as well, this one was a great beer and one well worth picking up.
Clear golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Caramel malty, herbal hoppy and some fruity notes in the aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation. Caramel malty, herbal hoppy, mild fruity and a bit grassy flavor. Decent helles.mansquito (6338) - Nueva York, New York, USA - OCT 28, 2014
[Bottle from a grocery store in Copenhagen, Denmark]
The Beer Store, Southampton PA 50cl: Pours light golden with a fizzy white head. Aroma is sugar, biscuit, and a hint of hops. Taste is pretty sweet, with some light notes of honey. Some bread. Finish is the downside for me. I did not really enjoy that part. Otherwise, an easy-drinking German lager. rotaman14 (598) - Wiesbaden, GERMANY - SEP 21, 2014

50cl bottle, Maruhn (backlog - had this a while back). Elegant and lean, perfect quaffer of an old school Helles: crisp biscuit malts laying a suave foundation for gentle noble hops, with a tinge of citrus and a very clean finish. Little sweetness, minimal graininess. Great, fresh and unpresuming sessioner.

Bottle. Clean, dark brown with active head of fine beige bubbles. Aroma is sweet biscuit malt, light kvass, and plums. Medium to light bodied. Mild fruit, some hop spiciness and lots of seme-sweet malts. Everything fits together nicely. Enjoyed. GBZ59 (1217) - BARCELONA (Catalonia), SPAIN - JUL 20, 2014
Botella de 500ml. Vaso Lager. Retrogusto malteado. Cerveza bien equilibrada.
500ml bottle. Lager glass. Pale straw color, clear appearance. White froth, close & lasting crown, lacing & spots on sides. Sulfury, grain, hay, biscuit & malty aromas. Malty upfront & slightly sugary notes. Medium body. Moderately high carbonation. Dense texture. Clean bitterness & citric notes linger into a sweet/bitter finish. Malty aftertaste. Well balanced beer. Davhgbrew (948) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 11, 2014
Mmm...toasty, malty and slightly bready. Crisp and clean, and so easy drinking. This is by far the best helles I have had. Body is medium full. Slight grainy flavor. Bitterness is low. Palate has almost a creamy texture. Finish is pure malt flavor. Could totally see myself drinking this all day in Munich. MiamiBarman (59) - Miami, Florida, USA - JUN 28, 2014
Poured out a slightly dark goldish color and slightly hazy with a generous white puffy head that left lacing alongside the glass. It actually deceptively almost looks like a Hefeweizen. The aroma is mostly floral with minor notes of vanilla and citrus. Medium bodied and pleasant refreshing taste. Not overly bitter and very easy-drinking. 0,5 l bottle. Golden in the glass with a big white head. Grainy on the nose. Starts low grainy with citrus hints, not very spicy. Later little bit malty, low bitterness, citrus. Easy to drink, but I missed the spicy notes.
