UPDATED: AUG 3, 2007 Bottle. Sour peach aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow color with small head. Sour peach, banana, wheat flavor. A straight forward Weizen - nothing to set it apart.

a very dissapointing Hefe from a German brewery. The distincitve cloves and banans in most Hefe are not as appeart in this one. Still quite thirsty quencing

Geiserich (4575) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JUN 24, 2006
Bottled: Fruity aroma, light banana notes. Dark yellow to light orange color. Huge fruity head. Very aromatic and fruity flavor, notes of apricot, cloves and wheat. Light spice note. Light sourly, astringent end. Pretty good.

ghawener (1608) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - JUN 18, 2006
Bottle: A typical Hefeweizen, on the lighter, thinner side. Overall, a nice drinkable refreshing beer.

From 5 liter draft can. Pours hazy pale amber with fairly thick hefe-type head. Head doesn’t stay long but rings the glass nicely. Aroma is yeast and coriander. Taste is spicy, citrusy and again yeasty. Very smooth and refreshing with little aftertaste. I’ve had much better but this weizen gets the job done.

thewolf (12746) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUN 3, 2006
Almost clear (slightly cloudy) pale yellow in colour with ood white head. Heavy aroma of banana, overshadowing everything else. The taste is let down by an initial watery mouthfeel. Contains some banana, some hops, a bit of nuts and some citric flavour. The taste stays put for a while though.

marvinpontiac (117) - Huntington Beach, California, USA - MAY 28, 2006
I would call this an average hef at best. Its cloudy and yellow like it should be but there is just nothing interesting about it - in a word bland. The body is thin, the head is average but has no staying power, and the yeast dominates the aftertaste.

steview (1037) - Petaluma, California, USA - MAY 26, 2006
slightly hazy yellow-brown body, thick slightly tan head when poured vigorously; slightly sour, wet-dry aftertaste, who cares... a bit sour, yeasty, cheesy, orangey, boringy... most noted is the oranged flavored water-sugar!

bager (2120) - Copenhagen N, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2006
On tap at Ølbaren. Hazy golden in colour with a medium white head. Sweet and a bit yeasty. Notes of banana and quite plane.
