UPDATED: MAY 8, 2017 Vom flasche. Orangey clear with a little head. Aroma is vaguely malty similar to a marzen. Nice full malty character with a tinge of metal. Finish has just a bit of bitterness. I remember at the abbey reading that this is a marzen, but ir?s labelled Vienna lager here. Taste, aroma and of the darker variety all point to marzen instead. Drinkable, but not their best. nickd717 (4889) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 18, 2017

Smooth, medium-full body with lively carbonation.
Aroma: Spicy and earthy hops with caramel and baked bread.

Bottle. Golden-yellow color with white head. Aroma is bready, malty, just a touch of caramel. Taste is again a touch of caramel, a bit flowery, all low intensity. Low carbonation, oily mouthfeel with a little bit of a chewiness. Highly drinkable, but doesn’t have much character. wombat23 (1787) - Texas, USA - NOV 20, 2016
