Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma is rich German malt, some toasty notes and overall nice and clean. Flavour is sweet malts, light toast, mild hop presence and overall quite clean(maybe just faint esters) dfearnley (2068) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 9, 2014

Pour is a clear dark amber with a ring of a white head. Ok lace. Aron is fruity bready malt with something like toffee, although I usually get that wrong in these kinds of beers. Very middle of the road taste, bitter with sweetness in there as well. Medium mouthfeel. Not a lot to say really. pintbypint (3577) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 8, 2014
330ml brown bottle. Craft Beer Advent Calendar 2014, day #8. Fairly clear, golden colour. Light white cap. Some good clingy lace. Aromas of bready malts, some light caramel. Taste is bready with some sweetness with a light grassy hint. Easy to drink, pleasant and simple. Oldschool_Mike (368) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 8, 2014

2014 Advent Calendar #8, 330ml, best before 17-06-2015.
Pours clear deep gold with one finger of loose white head diminishing gradually to a thick cap, moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is grainy pale malt, grassy hops, faint fruit and smoke. (7/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, mild peppery spice. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering and building bitter and spicy finish. (4/5)
Pleasant enough märzen even if the season for them is a little past us. Not too sweet, with a decent little peppery spice in the finish. (14/20) reebtogi (6235) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 8, 2014
330ml bottle which starts week 2 of the Craft Beer Advent Calendar pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy and grainy with hints of light fruits. Taste is a grassy and light citrus bitterness with a grainy malt and light fruit sweetness. Finishes clean with a light body and nice carbonation. As far as lagers go, this one is quite decent.
