Draught at Kleine Bierstube, Århusharrisoni (19165) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 1, 2014
Golden color; creamy head. Aroma of breadcrumbs and cereals. Simple flavor, with some malt, rather dry. Ordinary bitterness. Uninteresting.
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines and drunk at home. Clear golden brown colour lasting thick white head. Malty lager. Some spicy hop on aroma and the finish. Clean, no faults. Decent malty Vienna. rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2010
SBWF 2010. Golden color, white head. Malty aroma with some spices. Somewhat spicy malty flavor and not much more. mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 5, 2015
330mL bottle, pours a hazy bronze with a small white head. Nose brings out toasted bready malt and toasted nuts. Flavour is simply but correct and balanced, with toasted bready malt, just enough hops, and a little nutty character. Very dry, smooth and highly drinkable. Very nice. UPDATED: DEC 7, 2014 Copper lager with a crisp, firm maltiness. It’s simple, clean, but a bit light. So all told, a very consistent beer but not an exciting one.

Bottled (Beerangel, BB 02/2010).
Pale copper color, good off-white head, lace. Metal, ash, clover, straw, grass and caramel in the nose - when warms up: barnyard. Crispish carbonation. Ryeish-caramelly malty, vague grassy-flowery hops. Only some metal. Bitter-harsh aftertaste. Biscuity. Unorthodox German Vienna (closer to hoppy Märzen), but not the most balanced one. Finish is also a bit thin for 5.5% German brew. yngwie (17168) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 30, 2008
Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a nice white head leaving lacings. Quite grainy on the nose, but for once in a pleasant way. Caramel too, but the aroma is a bit one-dimentional. Grainy and malty flavor with some caramel and some fruityness. Low on bitterness. Medium body and a finish with grains and caramel. A nice and refreshing beer, but too grainy and one-dimentional. Copper golden pour. Nose and taste of grains, yeast, hay, flowers and brown sugar. Rated 6/11/04 brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - MAY 26, 2015
On tap @ Gourmet Haus Staudt. Light amber colored pour with a finger of off-white foam. Slight butterscotch on the nose followed by a heavy dose of toasted grains and bread. There’s a slight grassiness to it and perhaps some earthiness. Lightly bitter on the tongue but more sweet and grainy than anything. Decent enough bread, perhaps some molasses, and a bit of butterscotch. Light hop character. Just okay. Dedollewaitor (16315) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2008
50cl bottle. Pours clear gold with a fine creamy & full head. Lager malts & vague hops. Sweet bread & buiscuit. Well put together. Pleasant!
