Bottle thanks to Brock Landers: Orange gold pour with a bright white head. Some grassy hops in the aroma. Very smooth. Flavor had some sweet malts and a suddle hop back ground. Mildly bitter on the finish, medium bodied.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2011 (Bottled) Nice straight forward beer for swillin’, and not having to ponder the mysteries of this stuff . This beerz nuances are easy going but very decent . Lots of caramel and buttery texture and I could sink loads of this in conclusion ; nice dry finish.

Weltenburger Kloster Anno 1050 has a very thick, frothy, creamy, off-white head, a mostly clear, amber-gold, bubbly appearance, and heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, rich, somewhat sour, barley malt, and the taste is of the same, with sweet, white bread, mild hop bitterness, and a shadow of metallic. Mouthfeel is medium, and Weltenburger Kloster Anno 1050 finishes fairly crisp and highly drinkable. RJT

UXO (1896) - CANADA - DEC 8, 2014
2014 Advent Calendar #8, 330ml, best before 17-06-2015. Pours clear deep gold with one finger of loose white head diminishing gradually to a thick cap, moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is grainy pale malt, grassy hops, faint fruit and smoke. (7/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, mild peppery spice. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering and building bitter and spicy finish. (4/5) Pleasant enough märzen even if the season for them is a little past us. Not too sweet, with a decent little peppery spice in the finish. (14/20)

Looks nice, hazy marmalade in color. Frothy eggshell head. Stale malt aroma, celery. Better on the tongue, smooth, wheaty, some caramel.

SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 7, 2004
Bottle. Pours a hazy peach-amber color with a large sudsy off-white head. Aroma is fruity malts, hints of apricot, and citrus hops. Flavor is also very sweet and yeasty with a tart hoppiness and biting finish that ended up tasting kind of metallic and unpleasant as it warmed. Medium body and little to no carbonation.

3.4
GranvilleTim (1855) - Granville, Illinois, USA - OCT 13, 2009
Clear golden pour with a tan head. Aroma of malt, bisquits, caramel. Crisp tasting, malt leaves a nice flavor in your mouth, little sweetness, caramel. Little lacing.
