Russo (2012) - Hemhofen, GERMANY - NOV 23, 2010
Bottle. Golden color that starts with a nice foam and fade away quickly. Aroma is pour malt with floral and sweetness notes. Flavor is sweet and malty with a nice light bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium keeping a soft bitterness for while. Nice one.

Weltenburger Kloster Anno 1050 has a very thick, frothy, creamy, off-white head, a mostly clear, amber-gold, bubbly appearance, and heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, rich, somewhat sour, barley malt, and the taste is of the same, with sweet, white bread, mild hop bitterness, and a shadow of metallic. Mouthfeel is medium, and Weltenburger Kloster Anno 1050 finishes fairly crisp and highly drinkable. RJT

On tap at Seattle brew fest. Clear copper pour some head that disappears quickly. Aroma of grapes malt bread cheapness. Tastes strongly of malt and not much else blechhhh. Thick and sweet on the palate. Some skunky grass flavor. I poured this one out.

From Hipercor. In Paulaner glass. Chatting in whatsapp. Very, very, very easy to drink. Nice taste although could be better. Little aroma.

UXO (1922) - CANADA - DEC 8, 2014
2014 Advent Calendar #8, 330ml, best before 17-06-2015.

Pours clear deep gold with one finger of loose white head diminishing gradually to a thick cap, moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is grainy pale malt, grassy hops, faint fruit and smoke. (7/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, mild peppery spice. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering and building bitter and spicy finish. (4/5)

Pleasant enough märzen even if the season for them is a little past us. Not too sweet, with a decent little peppery spice in the finish. (14/20)

Saarlander (1920) - Saarlouis, GERMANY - JUN 26, 2005
Nice dark color. large head, quite a nice drink. Hoppy enough, easy to drink, could be a regular drink for me if it was available closer to home!

Ritzn (1890) - GERMANY - SEP 25, 2016
Clear amber with medium beige head. Aroma is shampoo and some dust, tropic fruit and caramel. Taste is some tart dust with harsh bitterness and some spongey sourness. Nice foamy mouthfeel. Too much shampoo with too much of the ugly bitterness. Nah.

Bottle. Pours a hazy peach-amber color with a large sudsy off-white head. Aroma is fruity malts, hints of apricot, and citrus hops. Flavor is also very sweet and yeasty with a tart hoppiness and biting finish that ended up tasting kind of metallic and unpleasant as it warmed. Medium body and little to no carbonation.

GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - OCT 13, 2009
Clear golden pour with a tan head. Aroma of malt, bisquits, caramel. Crisp tasting, malt leaves a nice flavor in your mouth, little sweetness, caramel. Little lacing.

2.9
Icedwarf (1850) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - SEP 12, 2014
Donker geel bier met schuim. Smaak is iets krachtiger dan de gewone Weltenburger, iets bitterder en heeft ook iets van gebrande caramel. Smaak is goed.
