Dark golden with a nice head and aroma with notes of malt and hops. The flavour is slightly sweet with notes of caramel, a moderate bitterness and a slightly dry finish. Well and that’s about it.... 1548

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2014 The Lure:
A filtered bronze hue is topped by a majestic, lingering head. Fine grainy malt and its honeyed counterpart befriend mild spicy and earthy hops.

The Festivities:
A caramel suggestion flurries through a subtle hop tingle. This citrusy and grassy hoppiness, helped by some neighbouring herbs, eases the quaffing. This is a very drinkable lager, bordering Bohemian-style, which gets better and better as the pint is downed, demanding bigger and bigger gulps.

Transcendence:
Teasing a sunburn.

Pours very clear, light amber. medium sized, creamy white head with above average stability. Smell is nice, creamy, ambermalty, medium bitterness ( hoppy, spiced character ) . overall medium intensity. Taste is tad bitter ( mild spicy aroma from the hops ) Malty ( ambermalty, but also some white bread mixed in. not very toast-forward ) clean fermenation profile. perhaps some very minor DMS notes, but not more than is suitable for the style. Mild sweetness by the malts. overall, pretty balanced lager, easy drinkin, clean, and well made.

Bottle. A bronze coloured beer with a white dissapating head. The aroma is sweet and malty with some brown bread notes and a bit of grassy hop. The taste is also sweet and malty with oaty toasty notes. A bit of a fusty farty taste in the after taste even though the beer is within date.
