clear amber with a beautiful tall, fine head. very nice, complex aroma of dark bread and a multitude of other malt-notes. some floral and herbal hops as well. well-balanced, but in context of the aroma surprisingly thin taste. good finish.

Good not great. That said, I’m not 100% sure what I was expecting. Decent flavor and all, just nothing that calls out "drink this again." But, quaffable.

Weltenburger Kloster Anno 1050 has a very thick, frothy, creamy, off-white head, a mostly clear, amber-gold, bubbly appearance, and heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, rich, somewhat sour, barley malt, and the taste is of the same, with sweet, white bread, mild hop bitterness, and a shadow of metallic. Mouthfeel is medium, and Weltenburger Kloster Anno 1050 finishes fairly crisp and highly drinkable. RJT

On tap at Zum Schneider. Deep amber in color with a nice tan head. Malty and caramel aroma. Crisp finish. Flavor is malty and hoppy. Caramel notes with some hop bitterness. Clean tasting. Nice beer.

dobre piwo. Choć na wiedeński styl nie wygląda mi to. Bardziej bym je przypisał do oktoberfest marzen. Piana spora, słodowy smak lecz chmiel dusi tę słodycz i trochę ją na finiszu przytłacza. świetnie piwo pasuje do bawarskich białych kiełbasek

Test vom 8.12.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,12,12,12,10,12 - 12,00

Another well-made brew from Weltenburger. Mild and creamy with pleasant malt tones and controlled fullness. Nice bitterness in the finish.

Germany. Hazy gold pour with an off white head and very good retention. Fair lacing. Taste is a mix of light caramel malts and sweet pale malts. Soft mouthfeel.
