500ml bottle. Medium golden-orange color, filtered. Aroma is doughy and fresh. Very creamy and soft, with a mellow hop balance. I seem to detect a little amber malt. Very subtle quality beer. jtclockwork (16582) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 8, 2010
Copper golden pour. Nose and taste of grains, yeast, hay, flowers and brown sugar. Rated 6/11/04 crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 18, 2011
I thought it was a tasty lager. The smell was actually the best component, floral with some nice fruitiness. stevoj (5043) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 4, 2013
Nice sharp taste in this one. Pours dark golden with light, airy head. Aroma is hopsand malt. Taste sweet and bitter, with abrupt finish.A good one, but from Weltenburger, I expected nothing less. bbrianezi (40) - - NOV 23, 2014
Edição de aniversário da mais antiga cervejaria/mosteiro do mundo. Uma mistura especial do malte e lúpulo entrega um sabor único e uma linda cor amarelo-dourado brilhante.

Heh, I was right it is Vienna lager, nice light red tone, and nice thick white head. I found that his beer got some light taste of peanuts, nice selection of malt, gentle mixed with hops. NYHarvey (2153) - New York, New York, USA - APR 1, 2006
Bottle from Beer World of Largo
Malty sweetness of the aroma invokes sweet honey bread. Light copper/amber in color with a slowly diminishing two finger thick white head. Sweet bready fore..lots of powdered malt/honey sweetness. Very nice lacing and head retention. Solid mouthfeel. Finish is quite clean and abrupt. WISEGUY572 (1377) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 30, 2007
This was really easy to like. Dark brown with a small head. Taste of cookies and cream, chocolate and coffee. Almost no hops, not much complexity, creamy in the mouth. Not a beer to study, just easy to enjoy. Hard to imagine how its ratings could be so low. wastl (130) - GERMANY - DEC 1, 2007
Bottle. Clear amber colour. Medium carbonation. Mostly malty aroma with some hops. Long, strong finish. Great beer. PilsnerPeter (3046) - Flushing, New York, USA - MAR 14, 2009
Tap at Zum Schneider: Copper golden pour with a dense off-white head. Clean, bready, softly caramelized aroma with a lightly spicy Vienna malt note. Creamy body- clean and firm malt flavor- mildly spicy Vienna malts, substantial but light caramel and bready character with a touch of toasted biscuit. As it warms, even more biscuity, clean and mildly sweet malt subtleties come out. A very good Vienna. I could drink a lot of this.
