Clear copper with a fluffy head/lace - nose of light honey, light dough, moderate mineral, some floral hop notes - soft carbonation, nice texture - moderately sweet, but with a mild balancing acidity - some toasty grain, honey, light esters - moderate floral hops - light mineral dryness in the finish - would like a little more overall crispness to this, but this is clean and tasty.

12 oz. cold bottle at Baruni’s in Baden, PA over a Greek lunch. Pours with little foam and has a lightness to it overall. Very intrigued with the "since 1050" date. Could this be the oldest operating beer?

Barwa: jasno bursztynowa, idealnie krystaliczna. Piana biała, początkowo obfita, grubo pęcherzykowa, dość szybko opadająca, wyraźnie oblepiająca szkło. Wysycenie średnie do niskiego. Aromat: głównie słodowy z nutami toffi i karmelu. Przyjemny.

2014 Advent Calendar #8, 330ml, best before 17-06-2015. Pours clear deep gold with one finger of loose white head diminishing gradually to a thick cap, moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is grainy pale malt, grassy hops, faint fruit and smoke. (7/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, mild peppery spice. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering and building bitter and spicy finish. (4/5) Pleasant enough märzen even if the season for them is a little past us. Not too sweet, with a decent little peppery spice in the finish. (14/20)

Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma is rich German malt, some toasty notes and overall nice and clean. Flavour is sweet malts, light toast, mild hop presence and overall quite clean(maybe just faint esters)

A mid amber coloured beer with a thick and frothy white head. A heady malt aroma, raisiny vine fruit, slightly bready and biscuity. Dry mouthfeel. Although the taste starts off with a tart, slightly floral hop flavour, the backbone flavour is that of malt, biscuity and bready, which also brings in a mild spice which in turn ushers in a raisiny fruity flavour. The finish is full of malty and raisiny fruit flavours.

Golden, slightly hazy; quite persistent white head. Aroma is predominantly malty; mostly bready with some caramel, but also a pleasant sweet white wine. Flavour is predominantly malty (bready to light toast), but with a peppery noble hop finish. Finish was not dry, but not sweet either; malt flavour lingered long into the finish, but was very well-balanced by a moderate hop bitterness. Overall, a very full-flavoured and enjoyable beer.

appearance: clear light amber, good white head. aroma: caramel malts, some cereal, grass. taste: toasted brown bread, honeyed cereal, grass and hay. finish: lingering toasty, grassy notes; medium palate, good carb and easy drinking. notes: Extremely nice lager. Would drink again. Bottle from Kevin at work.
