Complex aroma with various malts. Color is a deep dark brown with a ruby one to it. The head was small and disappeared quickly. Deep rich taste with a slight bitterness to it.

corkyrory66 (2416) - BELGIUM - JAN 16, 2018
Amen ... pardon, asam.

Mahogany colored on tap. Bready full aroma and flavor. Dark fruit, light spice. Good body, also crisp and clean with some thickness to it, and a sweeter finish.

A very nice bock. Listed here as a doppelbock but on the website of the brewer as a low fermentation bock. Anyway, it hes the looks and taste of a doppelbock thou it is less bready and sweet. A very nice beer.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Very dark brown with a tan head that fades eventually. Sugar, roasted malt, caramel, vanilla. Full, warming palate. Lovely.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2017 Great on a cold holiday night. Dark brown bottle pour. Sugar and molasses aroma which is evident in the flavors.

17-12-18 // 500ml bottle from Getränke Stumpf. Deep brown, foamy beige head. Malty nose. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, raisins, coffee bitterness. Creamy texture. Lovely Bock.

Pours a dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is dark fruit and malts. Phase follows the nose. Overall pretty good I actually let this beer sit around too much before I drank it so a newer bottle i probably would have rated better

vanilla, raisin, caramel, bread, chocolate, nuts, medium body and very flavorful. kinda roasty on the back end. I'm VERY partial to doppelbocks but this is damn good.

tgrtnr (394) - Augsburg, Bavaria, GERMANY - NOV 15, 2017
500 ml bottle. Pours dark brown reddish with big stable creamy head. Black cherries, roasted malt, caramel, dried fruits, vanilla, toasted breadcrumbs, brown sugar. Very balanced taste, medium bitterness and sweetness. Alcohol perfectly hidden. Very smooth. Creamy texture, full bodied, soft carbonated. Very well crafted Doppelbock!
