Rated 2005-04-30. Dark brown and red in color, pretty thick beige head which lowers pretty fast, tiny lace. Aroma is bit roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, caramelly and sweet with notes of nut. Medium bodied. Roasted, coffee-like, chocolaty, bit sweet and creamy flavor with notes of rye. Long and bit smoky finish. Very good and complex dunkel.

From tap in Klosterschänke, Bad Homburg, Germany. Pours dark brown with some head, aroma and flavor of roasted malts, well-balanced with a gentle bitter note. Goes extremely well with some savory German traditional food.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2017 Bevuta in abbazia.

Aroma: malts with notes of white bread, toffee, hint of caramel, coffee, dark fruits esters...flavor follows aroma: hint of roasted grain, white bread, toffee, hint of caramel, hint of coffee, dark fruit esters, especialy plums, prunes, floral, grassy, gentle citrusy hop profile. Slightly bitter, malty finish. Medium body, soft texture, medium carbonation.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Redondinha
