Ljunkan (530) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - SEP 25, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 2, 2009 Pours a light copper color with a large white foam. Nice. The aroma is a bit weird. Lots of butterscotch-like aromas in there, which I find a bit weird and surprising. It actually smells quite much for a lager, but I’m not sure if I like it that much... The taste is pretty clean, malty, sweet with a little bitterness and a slight note of citrus. Mostly this is a malty beer. No trace of butterscotch here. Weird, but that’s positive I think. Mouthfeel is okay. Not that much carbonation. Good. Maybe a bit watery though. Drinkability is good though. I finished my beer too fast... now my glass is almost empty.

Joakgust (1466) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 6, 2008
50 cl bottle - Golden amber colored beer with a small but thick head. Aroma is rather sweet with hints of caramel, hard bread and some nuts. Flavor is filled with caramel notes combined with a good balanced maltiness. Bitterness was sort of lacking, but I suppose I have myself to blame for having an DIPA before this one.

jefcon (1906) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - SEP 5, 2008
Very nice and smooth oktoberfest. Fuller malt, woodsy flavors than most in the style. Plenty of finish and a big mouthfeel. Aromas are crisp and malty as well.

TEJA (3123) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 5, 2008
White foan that quickly dissapears. Aroma of malt and also fresh hops. The bitterness is restrained and thin body.

Clear golden color, white head. Sweet malty, lactic, sour, old garbage scent. Stale, malty, grainy, sweet taste. Moussy mouthfeel that goes weak very fast. Peppry and stale aftertaste. Low bitterness. Scent is also old strawberry yoghurt.

SHIG (4963) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - AUG 3, 2008
Draught: A copper amber color with a off white head. The aroma is grain and malts. Taste is very malty but smooth with balanced throught.

ekstedt (6929) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 2, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2009 Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear amber with a medium off-white head. Roasted and slightly woody malt aroma with some dried fruits. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Very well balanced with a light sweetness and a gentle but firm bitterness.

Bottled (BB 05/2007)
Dark golden color, small white head, good lacing. Grainy malty, almost cardboardish aroma. Malty, woody with late sweetness, which saves a lot.Slightly dissapointing Oktoberfest from a good brewery.

oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 30, 2006
Bottled. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts and hops with slight caramellish hints. Flavour is malts, hops, caramel and slightly grassy notes. Still, the overall in the flavour is quite sweet. Watery, and no actual aftertaste.

ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2006
Deep golden colour with a small white head. Malty, grainy sweet aroma with a light note of caramel. Malty, caramel sweet flavor with a grainy and fruity note.
