Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, sweet malt, light cardboard. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a diminshed white head. Aroma is mild citric and towards cornish. Light breadish and cornish with a light bitterness and lingering malty finish. Smooth and easy but a bit simple too. Ungstrup (37859) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2006

Bottled. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts and hops with slight caramellish hints. Flavour is malts, hops, caramel and slightly grassy notes. Still, the overall in the flavour is quite sweet. Watery, and no actual aftertaste. omhper (25243) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 27, 2002
Amber colour. Loads of chewy malt. Balanced malt sweetness, some fruitiness. Bitter finish. Drinkable, well balanced and satisfying. A very good example of the style. Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 18, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful dark amber golden color and a small, tight head. Incredibly delicious and full toffee flavor with a distinct hoppy bitterness. Actually resembles good English ales, but Oktober Festbier is bottom fermented naturally. A treat for the palate. 220803 fiulijn (20604) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 26, 2003
Golden color. Some malt and grains aroma. A bit sweet body, thin malt, straw and grains, not enough hop; better balanced at the end, with some honey. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 13, 2003
Golden, with a quite nice head. Aroma is malty. Flavour is bitter, some floral toches, but not a beer to my liking.
