I had this on tap at a Ocktoberfest in Japan. It was clearly at the Weltenburger booth labeled as an Octkoberfest beer and first time in Japan. I hope/assume its the same beer. GOlden amber color with a fair amount of malty sweetness, but really lacked much depth or character with a touch of buscuitiness. Mediocre at best.

BigBastard (668) - L.A., California, USA - OCT 6, 2005
Very interesting. Slightly sweet, roasted nut flavor. Roasty, a little smokey and malty. I don’t think I could drink more than half a bottle at a sitting, but it was good.

voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 14, 2006
Clear dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of grain, metal, and light herbal hops. Flavour is also quite grainy, with some light sweet malt backing. The bitterness is quite high for the style and tastes a bit rough. The finish is as grainy as the rest of the beer, combined with the harsh bittterness. OK

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 25, 2006
Dark yellow colored, little white head. Aroma is sweet with butter and malts, basic Märzen-flowers and some honey also there. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Flavor is dryer with hops, some floral tones, mild cardboard and honey.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a diminshed white head. Aroma is mild citric and towards cornish. Light breadish and cornish with a light bitterness and lingering malty finish. Smooth and easy but a bit simple too.
