Ungstrup (38242) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2004
A hazy light yellow beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and the flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and a dry hoppy end.

Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2004
Bottle. Golden color and a grassy malty aroma and sweet taste in a medium body with a bitter sweet finish.

mutant (854) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 27, 2004
Light lemon colour with a loose head. Hoppy and slightly herbal aroma. Not much in the way of a malt presence but moderate bitterness with a long finish. Average.

BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - NOV 17, 2004
Slightly hazed, yellowy golden apearance, decent head formation. Clean malt, minty aroma. Spicy palate, sweet malt covered with mint and pepper. Dry but brief finish.

jmm1 (132) - Andorra la Vella, ANDORRA - NOV 2, 2004
Nice thick white head over a pale golden body. Grassy and fruity aroma, extremely volatile at pouring. Sweet hops at first touch, with a developing bitterness. Nice grassy aftertaste. Very small bubbles, but fizzy palate makes a very refreshing but full bodied pils. Thumbs up !

Choos (754) - Taylors Hill, AUSTRALIA - NOV 1, 2004
Aroma: saaz with a touch of apple. Apperance: pale gold with a good head that leaves bubbly lacing. Flavour: grainy quite a bit of hops. Palate: gentle carbonation medium mouthfeel and finishes reasonably balanced sweet and bitter.

dortmunder (961) - Herdecke, GERMANY - SEP 18, 2004
From 5l keg. Nice foamy head. Golden colour, slightly pale and cloudy. Floral aroma. Slightly malty, very sweet for a Pilsener. Floral hops. Almost no bitterness in the finish. This Pilsener is somewhat out of style, tasting more like a Helles. I like it though.

DarkElf (3066) - La Jolla, California, USA - SEP 7, 2004
(16.9 oz bottle, $2.65) Not being part of some massive global conglomerate, I expected better with this beer; I like the balance of this beer, but the malt tastes somewhat grainy and sweet, and the flavor just seems kind of light in general; Pretty mild hops quietly sits in the background, not doing much; A little heavier on the palate than some other German pilseners; Medium yellow in color and a bit hazy; Just not much going on in the nose, a bit of corn aroma, perhaps smelling faintly of tea, but I’m not getting any hops; Foamy, white head is of average size on the pour, but takes its time dying down to a thin layer, and then exhibits excellent head retention; Not too much lacing however, and it’s very sporadic

beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - SEP 5, 2004
This is a really nice pilsner, great golden color with a tall white head. Aroma is slightly straw, with a nice sweet malt finish over it. Taste is very clean and refreshing with a light maltiness toward the start and a good hopped balance for the finish.

vanvenlo (1910) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - AUG 31, 2004
UPDATED: JUL 3, 2005 20 Aug 2004 Fruit floral hop aroma. Clear light yellow orange colour, decent head, reasonable suds lacing. Some fruit flavour but needs more malt. Medium mouthfeel and there is not enough malt or sweetness/fruit to balance, but a nice lingering finish.
