Weltenburger Kloster Pils has a thick, foamy, frothy, white head, a mostly clear, sparkling, bubbly, golden appearance, with heavy lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is of pungent, lemony, sweet grains, and the flavor is of those elements, with biscuit, grassy hops, and noticeable, yet mild, bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and slick, and Weltenburger Kloster Pils finishes crisp and extremely drinkable. RJT WhatDaddy (94) - Volos, GREECE - JUN 27, 2015

THAT’S A TRUE PILS. Not a premium lager, not a "light crispy pilsner".
Very nice aroma of "flowers" and a hint of the hop, appearance golden clear with nice, strong white head that lasts, taste wonderful with a light-medium body, nice carbonation and -there it is- hoppy crisp with nice and long enough aftertaste.
Overall very drinkable, a true pils style and well-paired with food. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 15, 2002
UPDATED: JAN 24, 2003 dandelion honey tea aroma which is very full. soft smooth texture. it becomes extremely bitter without disappearing in the mouth. almost aggressively soft and smooth if such a thing is possible. i don't think i've ever had a beer i found too bitter but i was pleased that this beer went towards the edge of my bitterness tolerance brewolf (169) - Wilderness, WA, USA, - APR 10, 2012
Clear, bright yellow pour. Topped by a white, frothy, lacy head with real staying power. Firm cracker malt, a touch of honey, and vibrant saaz aromatics. Flavor is clean grain, honey-kissed crackers, and a touch of lemongrass. Light body, perfect carb, and great herbal/floral bitterness in the finish.
Awesome, old-school pils? Yes. Wulfstan (509) - California, USA - MAR 11, 2008
This is a nice pilsner. It is gold, a little on the pale side, bubbly, with a big, moderately lasting white head that leaves some decent thin lace. The aroma is malty grain, crisp & sweet, flowery, herbal hops and hint of sulphur. The taste is smooth, lightly toasted grain with lots of herbal and grassy hops flavour and a hint of pine. The grain hits first, then the hops take over, before a long finish of grain and herbs. It has nice crispness, but lots of flavour over the light body.

Good pils - very refreshing - salivating herbal aftertaste - decent body for a pilsner. rozsoma (1010) - Győr, HUNGARY - OCT 4, 2014
Margarenia (11) - GREECE - JAN 15, 2016

One of the best german pilsner I had, perfect white head that’s lasting when rightly served, nice bitterness, lively carbonation, thirst killer and a perfect match for food as well to get hungry. craigketo (3) - Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2008 does not count
A great pilsener from a great brewery. As somebody who doesn’t much like pils, this was a good change from the norm. Purchased at D’s 6 Pack and Dogz in Pittsburgh. I’ve never seen it there before. wlajwl (6747) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAY 1, 2012
Aroma is a mix of grains/bread and hops. The flavor is bready malts and a dry hop bite to the finish.
