.5 liter bottle poured a clear amber with a small, lasting amber head. Aromas of sweet malt, carmel, and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of sweet malt, carmel, and dried fruit with a semi dry, sweet, lingering finish.

Bottled. Pours a light orange color. Minimal head. Aroma is sweet and malty. A little fruity as well. Sweet/roasty malts right up front. Light roasted malt flavor throughout. Fairly mild, but still tasty.

ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2005
Clear orange with a dense off white head. Malty and sweet aroma with notes of grain and a light caramel touch. Malty, light brewmash sour flavor with a buttery sweetness. Dry sticky finish.

Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - DEC 17, 2005
Light copper, quickly fading small head. Aroma was mostly caramel, a tinge of lemongrass. Flavor matched. A bit watery, and the touch of sourness was unappealing. Malt driven flavors, but not ones that I enjoyed.

Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - DEC 16, 2005
New in our area for winter 2005. Dark amber, medium head, good lacing. Aroma was sweet and slightly spiced (like nutmeg maybe). Taste was medium thick and mostly caramel sweet with a dry and somewhat earthy finish.

pivnizub (10619) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - NOV 14, 2005
Bottle: Copper coloured, thin, fluffy off-white head; malty nose (caramel&faint traces of molasses) with a touch of aromatic(!) hops; slightly sweetish malty taste in the beginning, becoming quickly dryer in the mouth; mild bitter flavour; malty and fruity finish with a moderate bitterness; well balanced, well drinkable !

3.6
ChillCoat (1029) - Concord, California, USA - NOV 2, 2005
Bottled. Pours a bit murky. Amber colored with a white head. Yeasty aroma with notes of cherries, malt and caramel. Flavor is malty with planty of dark fruit notes. Somewhat watery and the carbonation seems somewhat flat. Finishes sweet but clean.
