Copper-brown color, good off-white head. Nutty, fruity malty aroma. Malty, bready-barley märzen-type flavor. Earthy notes and a bit alcoholic punch in the finish. Balanced malt profile.
Bottle, 5.4%. Fruity and peppery aroma. Amber colour. The head is big, white, stable and rocky. Full-flavoured beer, quite sweet, some hops and bonbon flavour. Slight liquorice or anis aftertaste/feel. Pleasant carbonation, which makes the beer quite drinkable. saxo (19569) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JAN 29, 2006

Pour is a dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is malts but had a very horrible chemical smell as well. Flavor is malty but even the malts really don’t stand out. Not a very good beer if you looking for taste and aroma, and why would you look for beer with anything else? noelcb (271) - Toledo, Ohio, USA - JAN 18, 2006
Tarnished gold in color, with a small but stout head. Aromas of orange, lime and grapefruit with deeper notes of malt, grass, yeast, herbs, ginger, cloves, licorice and dark chocolate. Flavors are very balanced, but distinguished be dark and citrus fruits, spice, malt, hops and yeast, with low bitterness. Fairly carbonated but big mouthfeel, inviting you to swish it around before swallowing. A good all-around lager.

Bottle. Translucent brown colored, faint caramel in the nose and taste with some fruit. Garrat (1347) - Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2006
Bottle.Sparkling amber red with a medium head, aroma is of hops, taste is clean and sweet with malt and grass. StewardofGondor (1933) - Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 9, 2006
Mega transparent and magnifying orange with a copiously foamy, dense and expansive light orange tinted head. Copper, caramel and spicy toffee wafts join sapped twigs, honey & herbal baguettes, unrefined pecans and balsawood. Expressive caramel and a touch of buttery vanilla lead the flavor. Mild, spicy roll compliments a Werthers Original candy composure. Butter pecans and pralines keep the impressive display running while we register hints of brown sugar and sweet cornbread. Gentle carbonation lets the commendable sweetness play out. Otherwise, it’s medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, finishing with buttered kettle corn with some caramel drizzled over it. Easily on of the best Viennas around. mephisto (1301) - TAIWAN - DEC 29, 2005
had it in a party? nice surprise, though the beer itself is rather forgetable. golden w/ a white head. fruity but not the memorable beer i’ve had.
