50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white/yellowish head. Mild breadish malt aroma with a note of hops. Flavour is smooth breadish malt, light caramel touch and with a medium body. Bitter hoppy refreshing and nicely balanced finish.

Ungstrup (38140) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2004
A dark amber beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, hops, and grain. The flavor is strong and sweet with notes of caramel, roasted malt, and hints of bitter chocolate, that starts the dry bitter end. A nice beer.

oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAR 6, 2009
Bottled (from beerangel.de). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is nutty, fruity, mildly malty and also some slight saltwatery notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some fruityness, mild wooden bitterness as well as some slight grassyness. Mild caramely wooden notes in the finish as well as some spicing.

3.7
omhper (25349) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 5, 2002
Dark golden. Full bodied, rather sweet, big maltiness, and nice late bitterness. A well balanced and rather powerful winterbeer, that feels bigger than it's 5.2%.

3.3
Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Light, amber colored beer with distinct, floating impurities. Quite small head. This is probably what we in Denmark call a "Christmas-pilsener". Malty aroma and flavor, pleasant light caramel-sweetness and also a distinct bitterness. True to tradition, an excellent beer from Weltenburger. 051103

3.3
Test vom 16.1.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,11,9,7,13,11 - 10,20
