Copper-brown color, good off-white head. Nutty, fruity malty aroma. Malty, bready-barley märzen-type flavor. Earthy notes and a bit alcoholic punch in the finish. Balanced malt profile.
Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer with a dense, off-white head. Some lacings. The aroma is rather vegetal, with pale malts and grassy notes. Some caramel hints in the flavor, with a generic fruityness. Resin and grass and a decent bitterness. Medium body, very soft carbonation. Some bitterness towards the grassy finish. Very boring this one. Not too good either. 141231 jtclockwork (17070) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 17, 2011

Metallic aroma - copper. Some malts too. ich orange, large off-white head. Pleasant sweet malty taste. Sweet caramelly body, smooht, crisp carbonation. Finish starts caramelly, then hits hazelnut and walnut. Hint of something mushroomy too. Very easy drinker, but a bit sweet maybe. Nice winter beer, I guess.
A: The pour is clear amber in color with a finger of slightly off-white head.
S: Nice and sweet with a surprising amount of fruit character. I get lots of stone fruits like peaches, plums, and cherries with brown sugar and toffee. Creamy caramel notes with almost no hop aroma.
T: Sweet sugar (mostly brown sugar) with a light citrus note and some more cherry, peach, and plum fruit sweetness. Toffee and caramel sweetness is also there along with some lightly toasted bread.
M: Somewhat light in body with a moderate carbonation.
O: This was a nice beer. A bit sweet, but still pretty easy to drink and enjoyable. Dedollewaitor (16315) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2007
Red amber with off white head. Dried fruits & malts. Light sweet with a medium body. Light metallic malty caramel. Short finish all around drinkable. Fairly good lacings! OK MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2006
Bottle, 5.4%. Fruity and peppery aroma. Amber colour. The head is big, white, stable and rocky. Full-flavoured beer, quite sweet, some hops and bonbon flavour. Slight liquorice or anis aftertaste/feel. Pleasant carbonation, which makes the beer quite drinkable. bhensonb (15601) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 2, 2008
Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Aroma of caramel accompanied by fruity notes - going from plum towards prune in a mild manner. Burnished copper color - it changes with lighting, and a white head that flattened, ringed and disappeared. Medium bodied with mild, fizzy carbonation. Body thins as carbonation departs. Flavor is malty/bready, balanced by decent bitterness. However, the fun thing is the fruit that dances around the hop and malt. I still find light plumminess. Perhaps they used floral hop. The finish is slightly drying, and the bitter stays around. It is just delightful.
