Draught
Copper-brown color, good off-white head. Nutty, fruity malty aroma. Malty, bready-barley mrzen-type flavor. Earthy notes and a bit alcoholic punch in the finish. Balanced malt profile.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer with a dense, off-white head. Some lacings. The aroma is rather vegetal, with pale malts and grassy notes. Some caramel hints in the flavor, with a generic fruityness. Resin and grass and a decent bitterness. Medium body, very soft carbonation. Some bitterness towards the grassy finish. Very boring this one. Not too good either. 141231

brokensail (16401) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 6, 2011
A: The pour is clear amber in color with a finger of slightly off-white head. S: Nice and sweet with a surprising amount of fruit character. I get lots of stone fruits like peaches, plums, and cherries with brown sugar and toffee. Creamy caramel notes with almost no hop aroma. T: Sweet sugar (mostly brown sugar) with a light citrus note and some more cherry, peach, and plum fruit sweetness. Toffee and caramel sweetness is also there along with some lightly toasted bread. M: Somewhat light in body with a moderate carbonation. O: This was a nice beer. A bit sweet, but still pretty easy to drink and enjoyable.

500ml botte (Angleterre, Helsinki)
Metallic aroma - copper. Some malts too. ich orange, large off-white head. Pleasant sweet malty taste. Sweet caramelly body, smooht, crisp carbonation. Finish starts caramelly, then hits hazelnut and walnut. Hint of something mushroomy too. Very easy drinker, but a bit sweet maybe. Nice winter beer, I guess.

Bottle, 5.4%. Fruity and peppery aroma. Amber colour. The head is big, white, stable and rocky. Full-flavoured beer, quite sweet, some hops and bonbon flavour. Slight liquorice or anis aftertaste/feel. Pleasant carbonation, which makes the beer quite drinkable.
