downender (8687) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2009
Bottle from Phoenix Fine Drinks, Gloucester. Deep copper with a big, frothy off-white head. Mlaty, cereal and red fruit aroma. Flavour of prunes, biscuity malts and caramel. Finish was dryish with a hint of roastiness. Good. laiti (8481) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 13, 2012
50 cl bottle (5,4%) @ home, BBE 19.06.2013DruncanVeasey (8239) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2008
Aroma has toffee, roasted notes, nuts and hints of metal. Flavour starts with grassy hops and finishes with nuts, some toffee and caramel. Also some distant metallic notes on some sips, which seems to be the curse of this beer style. A solid vienna.
UPDATED: DEC 17, 2008 Bottle from Arden Wines, 5.4%. Bronze pour spiralling with effervescence. Head plump and rocky, mouth bulbous with silk and biscuit, glass woolly with froth. Disarming fresh gust of Munchen hay, honey, herb and biscuit. Sniff of sultana. FRESH freshbread malt, nibble of pinecone, honey slickness, appetising noble bite, just-baked biscuit linger. So very clean and elegantly Germanic. Oh yes. More than a bit tasty.

50cl bottle, BBE 19062013. Clear golden, thick, lasting white head. Sweet malty aroma, flavor quite the same, some bread as well. Super drinkability. Sold vienna for sure. FROTHINGSLOSH (7879) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 2, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 This beer was far more of a bock than a Vienna to me. Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bronze color with a small yellow-tan head. The aroma was sweet, malty, tangy and lightly vegetal. The flavor was sweet, rich, tangy with a vegetal element and light molasses and fruity hops.

500 ml bottle.Ernest (7714) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 23, 2002
Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma of toasted malts, bread and fruitcake. Rich flavour of toasted malts, brown sugar, raisins, cherries and some caramel. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Good.
UPDATED: JAN 26, 2008 Bottle (BB Feb 09). Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is light amber. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread, malt syrup, cookie, husks), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a note of peach. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. A tired, rough, uninspiring example. The brewers seem to just be phoning this in. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 15, 2012
bottled. plain amber colour with a modest head; aroma of caramel and hay; quite sweet and toffeed with a tinny finish Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 31, 2014
Bottle.Pours deep golden with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, some flour and fruitiness. Flavor is sweet and malty with some bitterness, corn and grains. Medium body, average carbonation. jonas (7610) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - OCT 27, 2003
Grassy bitterhop notes with a bisquit background.
Orange amber with a lowish creamy head.
Nice broad hop flavors on top of a firm malt body. Hops are fresh and malt is fruity, I do not think this is a beer which ages or travels well. It is nice finally
to taste a well-done german fall/winter seasonal.
